Okay I will give this a try...

Big A = My name is Aaron I am 6'3" and weigh in Just under 240. Lift some weights, got some size (yeah, there too).

1973 = the year I was born. Also the year of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre (No relation, I don't think).

The name has to do with an old joke about the ships service diesel generators that were making one hell of a racket while the lights kept going on and off were really a bunch of screaming gerbils on treadmills hooked up to generators.

Oh, and for the record:

My last name is rarely pronounced correctly and spelled right even less, and phoenetically it is 2row. My dad and uncle both used it and I originally got it from them. Now the local VFW puts my name and brothers names in for the drawing as "lou2row", "jim2row", "len2row".

I grew up in Chicago and always watched wrestling on TV. The Bruiser and Crusher were regulars.

Welcome aboard.

I only slightly remember The Bruiser (unless you're speaking of Bruiser Brody) and the Crusher freakin' ROCKED!

One of my all time favorites was Jerry Blackwell. "The Mountain from Stone Mountain"!!

Mine's my initials and last name - nothing exciting. Matthew T. Stanger. When I first logged on I never read the forums. It wasn't until I spent a few hundred bucks on smokes that I started realizing there was more to this site than great prices on smokes!

Got my name from my niece. Not what your thinkin. She is 4 yrs younger than my and was being kinda smartmouthed on day i picked her up and put her in an airplane spin (ask russiancrusher im sure he can tell you lol) she yelled "unclebeefy put me down". With all the rest of my neices and nephews there it just stuck and got shortened to beefy. 64 is my yr of birth.
I actuall got to meet ****** the bruiser at a local race track some yr ago. Not as scary as he was on TV.

Knew Johnny Valentine well. Was on the same card that his son( Greg) debuted as Baby Faced Nelson. Valentine hit harder then anyone I knew. Huge welts on your chest after a match with John.

"I'm American, our names don't mean sh*t."

Actually, mine just means that I was making up a user name for an auction....and too lazy to consider a real handle.

That is not the proper etemology of the word. Look it up! It does not mean what you claimm it does. It does not even come from Yiddish. You defile those who speak Yiddish. Shame on you.

"Hegemonic", per Purdue.edu and Wikpedia, is the process by which a dominant culture maintains its dominant position.

Quit making up anti-semetic crap!

homage to the short-lived Simpson character

Poochie the Rockin' Dog

it is definitely not how I refer to myself, but when cbid asked for a username for some reason, I thought it was one I could remember.

LOL!@Dapper Dan! It may have also had something to do with Chris/delta wanting to meet with him at CigarFest. Unfortunately, a line was beginning to form for this opportunity after he came on like gangbusters & insulted everyone on Rick's thread. LOL

I wish him well.

Used to be calspyder 'cause I was building sports cars named "California Spyder". When I sold that and moved out of the Peoples Republic and back to the USA (Arizona), I changed it to azspyder. Now I am retired and spend my time looking for good smokes...

Well, I'm not exactly a "New Guy", but I don't believe I ever mentioned why I chose NiteOwl as my handle. I typically sleep during the day & work during the night, thus I'm a "NiteOwl". I case you wondered, I never smoked a White Owl (that I can remember), so the NiteOwl name should no way relate me to those convenience store smokes! Been puffing on stogies for many, many years, but just stumbled upon this site a couple of years back. To think of all the $$$ I wasted at my local B&M's before I learned to NEVER to pay retail if you don't have to!

Don't know if I am new or not by now..
I'll let the tried and true vets determine that statute:

but Davey is a nickname I NEVER liked at all, but on my bagpipe forum it stuck so I thought "oh well...easy to remember...and it reminds me of the Billy Joel song, which I fancy.

I play a lot of online PC games. I wanted something playful yet indicative of being in a squad based shooter such as Battlefield 2. "Brill" being Brit slang for "good" and "Kill"....well........its obvious.

yeah yeah, I know, it's dumb.
