With the new pro-allstars brand of Olympics hockey, we never had a chance. How do you beat a country that provides 90% of our players? The amatuer, play your heart out, dream team days are gone.

I believe that the NHL might not let players go for the olympics next time, which in my mind would be great, now if we could just get the top level european and russian tems to do the same.

I like the rules of Olympic hockey better. But I just don't care for the pro's in the games. Somehow it just doesn't mean as much. What's a medal next to the Stanley cup?

Decasere, I don't think it will be the individual nations, but rather the NHL itself. I think there will not be a break in the leagues games, nor do I think any team will allow their athletes to take the two weeks off. That will indeed cover Russia and the other nations, because most of their best athletes are in the NHL now.

I had rather see the College players in the Olympics and have always felt that way! Charlie
