Those are pretty good, no? They'll be gone soon though, and then The Anvil will be coming out. In the meanwhile, give the Cubanacan 550 a try. Not the same, but it still has the Esteli "Dark Side" flavor ata very nice price.

The B&M on Cooper St. (Arlington, TX) had one unopened box of the LC 550's over the weekend. Don't know if it's still there or not.

Thanks, but I think I found one. The Angel's Anvil is out there, too, and they've got a new regular line coming soon. Jericho Hill, I think, or something like that. They'll probably be delicious too.

I'll check out the Cubanacan, thanks. I read some other positive reviews of that one.

Thanks to PPP, I smoked a Hesitant Pirate from WAY back.
Probably had 10 years of age on it.
Smooth, mild and quite enjoyable.
Burned like a charm.

Mikey who gifted me an illusione hl candela and it was very tasty. I was expecting a 1 dimensional smoke that was mild in flavor. It was mild but had tons of flavor and very complex. Still finishing the last 3rd but it has been bouncing all over the place with flavors.

Thank you for the experience cause this is definitely a smoke I would not have thought about purchasing but wowed me when I got to try it.

Candelas can be hit or miss. Wheel sent me one last year to settle our LSU / Texas A&M wager. It was a house cigar from a place in Florida. One of the best cigars I've smoked. Which reminds me. I need to find out where he got it.

Thanks to Paul TMC I just spent a great over 3 1/2 hours ashing a CAO number 3 country cocktail. It was a good smoke. It seemed un-complex but smooth and long lasting. according to my watch I started at a quarter to 9 and finished at 12:15 am. Wow I do not believe that. It did not seem like it was that long. Herfing

Right as I was finishing it, there was a drive by 100 feet away from me, welcome to Pueblo Colorado.ram27bat

It was a series 68 Robusto. I figured it was different as I've never had a Padilla with a serial number.

Good smoke.
I believe the 68's go back to the "Pepin rolled" era.

Jespear I am enjoying a Pepin rolled Padilla 8&11. This is fantastic and I can clearly see why they are your favorite. I am a little past half way and I swear I tasted vanilla for a bit. Thanks Jespear gonna nub this until it burns my lips too much.
