65717~ La Palina Black Label paired with a quad mocha.

These get a bad rap for burn issues, and indeed they don’t burn well, but if you’re willing to occasionally purge to correct these are a good value. Plus I love the wrapper.

How would you compare the Cuban Classic to the blue labels? I enjoy the blue labels, but haven't tried the Cuban Classics yet.

That was my first Cuban Classic and they are pretty damn close as far as my liking. I love the blue as well. I might pull a blue out and see. Haven't smoked one in a while. My rotation can get pretty long lol.

I feel like the Cuban Classic is more peppery (not a knock)

I've heard it said the Blue is a more complex smoke

I like the blue quite a bit more myself. I keep boxes of the blue. I might have 5 or so of the black. I’m going to have to revisit that one soon. The blue is one of my personal favorite cigars lately.

I believe that to be true. If my palate isn’t fried I can taste transitions happening in that one.

good smoke. not spectacular. I top out just north of medium strength these days and was concerned until about an inch in when it pulled back and mellowed the rest of the way.
Not for the smoker that likes to get punched in the mouth with a pepper blast.
$10 at the B&M though.
