Probably will be an ebb and flow to the pace. That 1184 was in about 6mths time.

I agree we shouldn't browbeat people into tracking this. All the games on here are voluntary, excepting bomb receipts of course. We'll just do what we can to set up future generations to reach the finish.

I am a little disappointed Clint though. There was a time I figured he'd cover half a mil all by himself.

I'm shaky when it comes to accuracy with numbers, but it could take nearly 160 years to get to 1,000,000, if we continue at this pace, of roughly 70,000 cigars smoked and listed here every 12 years...

At 70k cigars every 12yrs it would take 171.4285714285714 years to make to to 1 mil.

Assuming 69360-
Montecristo Nicaragua 1935 Churchill

Not the coty vitolo but c'mon man!

Not terrible but not even close to a #25 cigar of the year let alone an aficionados #1 spot!

They must've paid WELL in C.A.S.H. for the rating is my bet

There is an interesting note in there somewhere & it's only my 1st so I'll revisit. As there were some construction & exploding wrapper issues. But it still drew nicely & produced a lot of smoke

I never would've even bought an Altidis at the msrp but aa somewhat interesting story resulted in my acquisition

I may post up the story elsewhere

3k posts in. Posted count is 44 less than the true count. Steadiness of the off count is due to a herculean effort on the part of jimbud at course correction. Cbidders never could count for chit.

jimbud is a true CBid gentleman and great BOTL...during an era when the rule of order was to rip and drive off noobs, he was one of the few who welcomed us...

69369 AVO Nicaragua toro wrapper is super thick maduro. Kinda doesn’t want to burn. Cigar has good flavor but it will not cooperate. Touch it just a little and smoke. I’m enjoying it though. Better than a lot of sticks I’ve smoked already this year

On my very first post, it was Wheel who saved me from leaving. I had asked a question about aging and got a couple of franked up responses. Wheel came back and sorta defended me so I decided to keep reading the posts; otherwise, it was gonna be “See ya latah frankahs!”

I’mma pretty sure my cigar experience would have been totally different if I had left. Heck, maybe I wouldn’t be smoking today if it hadn’t been for Bill. And fo’ sure I wouldn’t be posting on this site.

RIP Wheel.

I did a bit of forum stalking before presenting myself, so expected the azzhattery, but in the process got to meet some great BOTLs in their own right. Too much of a noob to know these historical figures though.

It's interesting reading the old posts, also distracting when your trying to audit. Lots of azzhattery and chitty counting, both apparently being a forum tradition.

But I gotta admit, I suck at it too. I counted 7 pages, and decided to audit myself to make sure I was being accurate, and got a different number the second time around. So I counted a third time, and got a different number from both the previous. d'oh! So I realized that I count count that high without Fing up. So now, I just count one page, then go back and do it again to make sure I got it right.
