59826~ Viaje Exclusivo (new release)

Supporting my local shpo that protects me I grabbed this one today and another Muestra de Saka #NLMTHA (I have two now....it’s an ocd thing).

Anyways it started off (Viaje) with graham cracker and marshmallow and a hint of cedar in the first third then later picked up some saltiness. The second third lost the marshmallow completely but not the slight sweetness or the saltiness but it did find some charcoal and a slight sourdough yeast taste. Final third the saltiness picked up and unsweetened graham cracker, and the charcoal faded out.

Viaje has been releasing some duds but also some that really remind me of the Viaje heyday (to my tastes). This one is not a dud.

This weekend and my noobie observations:

Aging room maduro, hard draw-blech
reserva dorado- cracked & coming unwrapped, not smokable-good thing they were freebies
MF Flor de las Antillas maduro- finally a good cigar
Warped Gran Reserve 1988 Robusto, nice sweet spot but burned hot at the end-maybe I oversmoked it?
Fratello D'Oro Robusto- what a nicely constructed cigar, great draw/burn- not alot of changed in flavor profile but a decent smoke
Liga Aganorsa shortie- freebie and very nice smoke!
first smoke w/coffee on Sunday-Irish Car Bomb- so tasty, had tburn issues, relight a few times but smoked to nub, lil dizzy after-in a good way.
