Recieved these today and they (unlike any other CB goods before, arrived bone dry and flaking apart. It wasnt shipping damage. It was apparent these have been dry for some time. I broke one in half and it snapped like a twig and a little puff of dry tobacco dust was emitted. Most of them were not salvagable and I tossed them in disgust. Needless to say I am rather sad about this. Any one else have the same problem?

They obviously shouldn't be that way...Incidentally, after the blowout was completed, I bought a bundle of them from my local dealer for $20.00 (STILL more expensive than Cigarbid.com, which priced them at $15.95/bundle...I knew I should've bought one then) and these are very moist and good tasting..Maybe you were sent a bundle that was dried out..I believe you can send them back..Sorry to hear that. I hope this was just a isolated incident with the Nicaraguan Blue Ribbon Bundles...I have to admit though, mine could use a little aging to mellow the typical bite of Nicaraguan tobacco

Mine were quite good as well. I think that yours may have sat in a hot truck over a week-end or were left in the sun during shippment. Plus the packing peanuts act like a big sponge and will leach the mosture out if they are hot and steaming anyway. It doesn,t take that long to dry out cigars in the summer heat. Leave one in the ashtray of your car smoldering while you run into the bank for 15-20 min. and you will see my point. I expect CB to refund or replace these sticks for you they are quite good about that. I personnaly think they are good smokes. I tend to lean toward Nics and Hondurans lately, not only for the price but the tobacco tastes better than most DR cigars of late. Good luck

Did you realize that you could have called into Cigarbid customer service (1-888-244-2790) and notified us of the problem. We would have been happy to replace or credit the cigars. We do care about the satisfaction of the customers here, as many on this forum would attest to (I hope!) For future reference, just call and let us know - we are here to help :o)
By the way you said that you tossed them, do you have any left that can be returned?

I received mine on Wednesday, via US Postal. They arrived in 2 days, but they were very dry and hard. Wonder if the 105 degree weather here in Texas was a factor!
I have smoked two of them, and only hope that 3-6 months of aging help. Of course, for less than about .60 cents a piece ($15 for 25 sticks), one can't complain too much....
