FGM wallopped me good for violating the noob trade clause and sending 6 sticks instead of five. I open up the box and right near the edge, I find the fiver for his end of the trade. But that was only the beginning! The noob trade fiver came with quite a lot of "padding," you know, gotta make sure that fiver is packed well, don't want careless USPS workers damaging it. I reach back in the box, and the goods just keep coming! 30 cigars total, and a leather cigar wallet, a cutter, two boxes of wooden matches, a travel coffee mug, and some beef jerky and sunflower seeds. FGM, thank you for being so generous while teaching me my noob lessons!

The Goods:

Carlos Torano Exodus 1959 Toro
Perdomo2 Limited Edition 2008 Robusto
Rocky Patel Cuban Blend Torpedo
Rocky Patel Vintage 1992 Belicoso
Indian Tabac Super Fuerte Maduro
Onyx Reserve Belicoso
Fonseca Lancero (ISOM)
Oliva Serie G Maduro Robusto
La Aurora Preferidos Ruby Tubo
AF 8-5-8 Maduro Flora Fina
Punch Gran Puro Rancho(I think)
Punch Rothschild Maduro
Camacho Coyolar Rothschild
El Cobre Torpedo
Illusione MJ12 (had to peek in the tinfoil!)
Pepin Cuban Classic Robusto
Pepin Series JJ Maduro Robusto
Gurkha Micro Batch Liga TPB-1
Gurkha Century Blend Toro
Gurkha Black Puro Toro
Kristoff Maduro Matador
Tatuaje Havana VI Hermosos
Tatuaje Black Tubo
CAO America Torpedo
CAO LX2 Robusto
CAO Criollo Robusto
CAO VR Totem
CAO L'Anniversaire Maduro Corona
Graycliff 1666 PG
Mayorga Maduro Robusto

Needless to say, I'm really excited about all of these, gonna be hard to decide which one to smoke first! FGM, you da man!

Glad the pic thread finally came up. And yeah, FGM really does know how to lay the smack down. The bomb dropped right at the best time too....I'm off for vacation for the next five weeks! Time to get some quality smoking done. I think I'll have to take a few of these and go camping, and light 'em around a campfire.

Nicely done Ray. That Tat Black tubo reminds me that Pete should make a line of female enjoyment products.

I'm still a noob here. If anyone wants smack me-beat me down with some sticks like those, I would not mind at all. Just let me know, I would for the sake of noob-veteran relations, take a beat down like that. I ready to get 'jumped in',,,,,,anyone?(LOL)

I have indeed...meant to post about some of it earlier, but I've been busy recently. The Camacho Coyolar was pretty damn good, definitely lived up to its billing as a strong one. I had had one of these previously that I think was probably too dry and it smoked like chit, but this one was good. The Serie G Maduro was a winner too...I've always liked Oliva's offerings; this one was pretty damn smooth, tasted like it had a bit of age on it. The CAO L'Anniversaire Maduro was pretty tasty too. I let my wife smoke the Rocky Patel Vintage 1992, and she loved it (I made her share though, and I agreed - it was good). I have enjoyed pretty much everything I smoked from this noob bomb so far except the CAO Lx2. My favorite new discovery so far though has definitely been the Kristoff Maduro. I had never smoked a Kristoff, and I usually smoke smaller cigars than that Matador, but damn that thing was good. Smooth, flavorful, great burn, all in all a very enjoyable hour and a half smoke. I have already acquired some more of these (and a few in the other Kristoff blends). Even if that's the only "new favorite" that I find in this whole assortment (which I doubt), I will be pleased. Thanks again for the impressive assortment!
