Who do you listen to? I mostly listen to sports, but I LOVE to listen to Michael Savage. It may surprise some of you that if I was to identify with anyone of these people, (Hannity, Rush, etc) it would be Savage. He can be a little out there but he dislikes ALL of today's fake politicians. The guy says what I'm thinking about 98.2% of the time.

On the days that I listen to talk radio, which is most days, I start the day off listening to Fred Grandy. He use to be Gopher on the Love Boat and then was a Republican Congressman from Iowa. He is on til 9am, then I listen to Chris Plant till noon. Rush comes on at noon, and listen to him till 3pm. I like him, because he talks about a variety of subjects. Hannity comes on at 3, but I then switch to classic rock stations. Hannity gets on my nerves. He usually takes one subject and beats it to death. He thinks he is funny, and is always saying how great and smart he is. I don't think so. Mark Levin comes on at 6pm. If I am still working late, I listen to him while I drive. I think he is a very smart man.

Never listen to Michael Savage, but will see if I can find him on the radio next week.

Believe it or not, when I am at home and working on the computer, I listen to MSNBC, Keith Oberman, Chris Mathews, and even Rachel Maddow sometimes. I know there are two sides to everything, and I like to hear the other point of view.

I never listen to Glenn Beck or O'Reilly. I think sometimes they are out there, and don't want to waste my time.

Ain't this a big, beautiful world? I feel the same way about Overbite, Madcow and Thrill Leg Matthews.

I did listen to Airhead America before they tanked, to get my fill of the "two sides to every story."

Apparently me, and their other 6 listeners, were not enough to keep them afloat.

^love click and clack!!! Local guy here before Rush is great. He's a libritarian/conservative. Rush is good but bores me easily, I flip between him and Jim Rome till noon. Laura Ingraham and Beck back and forth till 5. Savage is by far my favorite, but he has very high highs and very low lows.....Savage, love him or hate him makes you think about things in a unique way. You just have to wade through some crap (I have a dagree!!) to get to the jems.

LOL! Don't forget the politicos- Plugs (Biden), Stretch (Pelosi), & John McLame.
I enjoy Savage's passion as well until he goes over the edge with his rants. He has been attacked by the left, abandoned by the establishment right, and declared persona non-grata by Great Britain, so some of his bitterness is understandable. His take on Islam and the homosexual community is head on (pun intended for both).
The "Great One" Mark Levine (the Fox robotron leprechaun's buddy) is entertaining as well- knows the Constitution forwards & backwards.

I like Savage because he seems to be COUNTRY first. He is not Republican or Democrat. He does not espouse why the left or right wrong. He doesn't just mindlessly prop up a party. I don't agree with everything he says and he is rude as hell to call-ins but I can honestly say that if he were to run for a political office, I would seriously consider voting for him.

Yeah, I probably would too. What you see is what you get- unlike 98.2 per cent of what we now have.

Used to be a faithful Michael Savage listener, and also rarely missed Rush. But don't hear either much anymore since I went to satellite radio. I'm on the road a lot, so I pick up whoever is on satellite. Usually that's Wilkow at noon, Hannity in afternoon (although he wears me out) and Levin in the evening.

I have at times listened to Beck and Mike Church. Beck is and up and down, depending on the day. I usually head for the 70s rock channel when he starts bawling. He didn't used to be like that.Think

There was a great talkshow host in the Detroit metro area named Mark Scott. His show was awesome.

I listen to talk radio but its more for traffic reports than a viewpoint or an opinion with me.

Used to listen to Rush when he first started. The premise was really the same as it is now. Use their words and actions against them. I haven't bothered to dial in anymore because I could see where he was going and where it was going to end up. What's the point? I've listened to Mark Levin and like his show but I don't dial in every night. If I'm in my car and its on I'll listen but I don't go out of my way to receive the message.

I listen to it for the following reasons:

1) it keeps me informed,

2) Some of the hosts are entertaining (Rush Limbaugh is especially good at this),

3) The other stations are either the same old morning-talk types or are sports-oriented,

Frank Beckmann here in Detroit is really good. He's considerate to people with opposing views, but really doesn't let people get away with typical talking-points drivel.
