I'm pretty sure they call this "enabling". When I need a new belt, it'll be your fault! They are very addictive and oddly nostalgic for me. I remember something like this on a pu-pu platter in my youth. Thanks for the memories AND the calories!

Couple of things:

1. Punch a hole and extend the life of your current one.

2. OTC on a pupu platter...so you were in Hawaii back in the day?

3. Calories are a minor setback (...see #1 above...)

Another slight delay. We had a sh*t show of storms roll through yesterday and knock out our power. Electric company is estimating Saturday after 3:00pm before it's restored. Sorry!

We would be dead from heatstroke if that happened, in the 100's everyday with 70s for dewpoint. Hope you're both up and running soon

As far as I know delivery is still happening... slow most times these days, but still happening. I will keep any eye peeled.

You must be thinking of another delivery service, because that sure aint the USPS these days.

We must be special.

Last week at about 8:30, I was sitting out in my garage smoking and heard the sound of a postal truck. I thought it mighta been doing a Special Delivery but when the truck pulled up to our mailbox, saw it was our regular carrier. Asked her how come she was working so late and found out that a couple of people had called out so there were 8 open routes. She did those and then was finishing up doing ours. So I guess they still try to adhere to their informal motto.

Stolen from Mr. Chazbo's great idea.

I love the PIB/Wants thread that is going but most all wants are htf smokes are ultra premo's ( nothing wrong with that if you have the coin). Just want to get more people involved.

So this thread is for wants under $8 msp each

Rules:
Post a list of at least 8 cigars you are looking to try ( under $8 msp )
Who ever has at least three of the wants can pick up that request but send at least five cigars.
Then once you pick up that request go a head and post your ten or so wants.

In an effort to avoid outrage...here's my list. I'm truly not picky, and open to most anything. But these are a few of the sticks I've been watching reviews on and might enjoy trying.

I'm pretty sure some of these could be under $10.00-$8.00....that's going based off of what I see online.

Drew Estate Herrera Esteli Brazilian Maduro - Any vitola

Espinosa Laranja Reserva - Any vitola

Leaf by Oscar - Any vitola, any wrapper, but would prefer to try the Maduro

Southern Draw Jacob's Ladder/Cedrus - Any vitola

Drew Estate Tabak Especial Negra - Any vitola

Oliva Dub Nub

Anything by Viaje

Anything by Tatuaje

Any maduro or sungrown by Arturo Fuente

Again, I'm not picky. Basically if it's something not too light, and tasty, I'm happy.

Hahaaa! Yes, your little baby boy is growing up. I learned my lesson with those Gurkhas....cheap doesn't ALWAYS mean bad as I learned with Man O War, but with Gurkha, in my opinion after trying a few of them, well....they suck.

And splashdown they did!

Stealth delivery. I peeked into our mailbox a few minutes ago and lo and behold, there was a stuffed-to-the-gills box from Ron. Brother Napalm smacked me with 10 really, really, really nice smokes.

A. Fuente WOAM (from 2012) - old band and always a delight!
(2x) La Barba Purple Double Corona - nh
(2x) La Barba Red Lonsdale - nh
(2x) Mombacho Diplomatico Petit Corona - nh
Tatuaje Black Cazadores - nh - love the Black CG, PL and Robusto so gonna guess I'mma gonna love this vitola too!

Couple of foreign passengers:
RASS (from 2012) - I sparked one up recently and wondered why I don't smoke them more regularly
RASCC (from 2012) - a GREAT short smoke

Thank you very much Ron. Got 4 new smokes that I've been curious to try and with your generosity, will have a chance to try one each of the La Barbas and Mombachos to see how they smoke fresh and then wait a bit to try them with a few months rest.

let's give this another try...I tried to post an acknowledgement last night, and then again this morning...but the forum page was down on my PC and then bombed on my mobile this morning....
I got the package last night after my wife retrieved the mail from the box at the end of the cul de sac...it was too hot to go out before 8pm, local sunset time...

Carson impressed me with the selection he sent...hit quite a few on the list....and then some:

From the list:
Aging Room F55M
AJ Fernandez Bellas Artes
Camacho American Barrel Aged
Camacho Triple Maduro
601 La Bomba Warhead IV

and the "throw-ins":
El Gueguense, The Wise Man
Espinosa Especial
Joya De Nicaragua 1970 Antano
Julius Caesar
My Father Flor De Las Antillas

I've rechecked the rules...don't they call for a fiver only? How come people who knew how to count at one time lose that ability once they start throwing CBid punches?

Thank you very much, Brad...really appreciate this selection.
