OMG, very serious mistake here folks. According to Mel, the box was supposed to go to Bill....big oops. I totally forgot the early change in the month with Cliff and Bill. Probably cause I haven't been around much these past 6 weeks. My apologies to Bill. Bill, the box goes to you after Mel.....again my apologies.....Brent

Because of this gentlemen, I shall be forced to commit Harry Carey (getting drunk and watching a baseball game). That is, after I go try the new Don Tomas Cameroon at a tasting tonight!

Since I'm the new guy, and probably won't see the box for a few weeks (looking forward to it :) ), I'm taking my vacation from Aug. 26 - Sep. 3, going down to Myrtle Beach to play some golf, eat some seafood and relax with the future Mrs.. Can't wait to get the box. BTW, just got back yesterday from a friend's Bachelor Party, and he hates cigars (have to reconsider if he really is a friend ;) ) so I couldn't smoke one all f'n day! An exceptional day; a Yankee game (won 9-1), a 4-star hotel in Manhattan, two gorgeous, er um, dancers, and no cigar. Arghh.

Heg,
It is unfortunate that if indeed you are waiting for the Mag 9 box simply because it will never show up. I believe you belong to the other trade group...Elite 8..a marvelous group that I also belong. Enjoy your vacation and feel free to post on our thread but don't sit at home and wait for this box.

After the week I had, I was looking forward to kicking back with a good cigar and a cup of Jamaican Blue. The cigar I had in mind was a Short Story. To make the story short, someone didn't post that they took that cigar out of the box(July 23). Be that as it may, Mel takes Montessino Robusto maduro, Por Larranaga Robusto, Canonero Robusto and Rico Cabana Petite Corona. Mel puts Victory Spirit Robusto, Remedios Robusto maduro, Upmann Robusto, Don Diego Corona and Bauza Medal D'Oro #1 and pours cup of Jamaican Blue down sink. Until next time, enjoy.

As usual, my many thanks to those whose generosity is legendary. I fired up the nic blue-ribbon bundle today. Very good imho. A word of caution to whoever has them. I bought 2 bundles of these last year and they were very good out of the box. After about 6 weeks they developed a strong ammonia taste. Followed advice and put them away till after Xmas and they were just fine.....enjoy.

All is well, the eagle has landed, and will depart in the morning. First, I am including 8 Carrington Figurados for your smoking pleasure. A sweet little cigar that may find a place in your hearts.....if you like sweet little cigars. Also, my adds will be: Santa Damiana Toro (a mild cigar, and my first taste of anise), Astral Belicoso(another rather mild....I like this size), E Trinidad Lonsdale (I'm a fan of Macabi, and these are a steal on this site), Royal Jamaican Rothschild Maduro (had not tried these but picked one up at the store cause it looked so good and it was), and a Bahia Tesoro(if you get this one you will thank me....either that or you suck). All are recommended. My takes are: La Finca Torp.,,, C.A.O. La Anniv. Toro Mad.,,,, Bauza Medal D Oro #1,,,, & Flor de Farach Torp.

Enjoy,

Bill
