One of the best lyrics in any song ever..

Did you exchange
a walk on part in the war,
for a lead role in a cage?

I think completing Tony's recent Gurkha challenge would be easier than watching this......I made it 45 seconds...

Granted their later stuff had some more "catchy" tunes.......but I only remember them as suqing............big ones...

Lol! I return to this madness. You guys don't know how to behave at all, do you??

U2 is great. I love them. Would like to see them live one day. I like Pink Floyd, but don't love them... That is actually what I was saying. In my defense, Dark Side of the Moon was in fact one of the best rock albums ever created. I think they are overrated, but still a good band. Their music is a little slow and boring but good lyricism.

My favorite band of all time, however, crowns PF and U2. They are to remain nameless because I don't want to a sour rant with anyone if they talked crap. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Hey you
Comfortably Numb
Us and them
Welcome to the Machine
Money

Another Brick in the Wall
Have a cigar!!!!!!
Learning to fly
On the turning away.
Not your cup of tea I can understand but, Overrated? One of the best rock albums of all time you said!
That hurt me physically:-(

Now I'm a huge U2 fan.... Up to Joshua Tree. I still think Under a Blood Red Sky is their best album. I bought Boy, their first album when it came out and when I Will Follow ended I was IN. But after 1987.... The success of Joshua Tree went to Bono's head. I think it affected them musically and their next albums were ummm pop rockish. They lost the fire they had in those early albums and the soul of Joshua Tree. He was really good in Across the Universe. Amazing cover of I am the Walrus. Beautiful Day was a good song too. But, I won't say overrated..... Maybe outdated or out of touch?

I saw them 3 times and to this day they had the best ending to a show ever. Thousands of people leaving JFK Stadium singing How long to sing this song for a good 30 mins after lights out and the parking lot was empty! It was surreal!

Yeah u2 got bigger. But rightfully so... After that album. It reminds me how Coldplay started out. Fame blew their heads up and everything after their third or fourth album sounds like pop.

Ha!
Youโ€™ve been here long enough now.................thus, you should know that...

This is 5th grade.....................we thrive on sour rants.

Now, who is your favorite band?
I ask, because, personally, I find it simply an impossible question to answer.
I could MAYBE narrow it down to 15..........and even that would be very difficult.

No, no, no. That ain't how $hit works here. YOU have to name it because you brought it up. Afraid to tussle with us, girly? Name it, defend it. Don't rely on a MAN to fight your battles. Shame on you

I hear kotc because I find pinning all time favorite a hard call.

But IIRC cigarlady was going to listen to some Zeppelin, followed by some Zeppelin, and finished up with some more Zeppelin.

Do I win?

You need to pull your head out of your rear. This is all fun here. I am not relying on anyone to fight my battles. You take things way to seriously. And it has nothing to do with me being a woman. If you want to try and scold someone, make sure it is your son or daughter next time.

HA! She don't know me very well, do she? Why do you think they sent you to me for "guidance" when you joined? I've always been THAT GUY on this board and I'm good at it. I beat on noobs and whether a man or woman, matters not to me. Although I'm semi-retired, my job (as others before me) is to weed out the weak. You have proven yourself in battle and I salute you. My car? 1968 Ford F100....with tie rod guards.

You can choose to take me seriously if you want, I suppose, but I wouldn't recommend it

Oh.. Well great. I retired at 30. No Joke. And also... I had no idea that you " were sent to guide me". I didn't get that impression. Weed out the weak?? Maybe you have too much time on your hands.

Lucky for you, this board only allows people to say things as nicely as possible... Even if they are being negative or aggressive. I've seen you be quite an a$$ to others. I HATE bad attitudes and spoiled apples.

I know other boards outside of this one where your particular humor (or demeanor if you will) will get you eaten alive day ONE...Even if you have earned props as a "vet" on this site.

Again...HA! Relax....or don't...immaterial to me. No one....repeat...NO ONE...especially me, is asking you to "kiss ass". When you joined, someone (I believe it was King of the Cove) told you to PM me for something. You did. That was not done because I'm nice to noobs. They figured I wouldn't be because I used to beat on noobs the way I was beaten on when I joined. I told you in the PM that this was why you were told to PM me. You were set up....the same way you were set up with the Thonginator and other shenanigans. It's the way noobs are made to feel welcome and let them know they better wear a coat on this board because it can get rough. Nothing like it used to but it can still get chippy. Congrats on retiring so young! I just meant that I have basically retired from my position of chief noob bully. I grew bored with it. Almost nothing I write on this board is serious. If you don't wish to believe that, knock yourself out. Hell, the fact I'm even bothering with typing any of this proves you are a welcome addition to the board. I normally simply ignore noobs. They don't stick around long enough to bother with.

You should have met the guy that started this thread. You'da LOVED him.

See I agree there about Coldplay. When I think Coldplay I hear the song - Yellow. Although Fix You is a guilty pleasure. Like Total Eclipse of the Heart.... You look around to see if you're alone and if you are you crank it and sing at the top of your lungsWhistle Or is that just me again?
