Hey man, if you haven't yet, go to YouTube and look up "Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds - Babe I'm On Fire", the full 14-minute version. Not one with the album cover just sitting there, but the actual video for the song.

Hell of a music video, wow. It's frenzied but awesome.
.

This time gonna set it up on auto-play, and see where it takes me.
Didn't have time to delve further last time, gonna do it now...

Watching hip hop head Joey Da Prince listen to Pink Floyd's "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" for the FIRST time.
His reaction is worth the watch.

The thing is, I’m so fuggin’ old, I saw all of those skits when they first aired. fog

Cross-posted with the food forum.

A clear violation.

But Frankie is on vacay, Tony is knee-deep in his fifth Gurkha, and Palama is just way too cool to give a fucgue.
And Delta is French, and I already insulted him and Stiegs, so that bridge has already burned.

Whoa. Haven't heard that song in ages.

Overlooked album but one of my favorites from, what I consider to be Stevie’s most creative period.

Funny....I listened to a Stevie Wonder song a half dozen times this past weekend...only I didn't know it was a Stevie Wonder song....I got the earworm and had to keep going back and listening repeatedly....gets better with each listening

Stevie's original isn't bad either, but I just absolutely love Aretha's phrasing

nope, it's not called "Always"...the longer it goes the more hypnotic it gets...for me anyway.
I had the DJ play it when I danced with my daughter at her wedding.

Kool and the Gang - Wild and Peaceful

I was totally dismissive of these guys for decades. I thought they were Ladies Night and Celebrate and Joanna....really crappy music, I thought. I knew of Jungle Boogie, mostly from the Pulp Fiction DVD. But their early stuff is so much better than the not-real-funk-try-not-to-be-too-disco-y crap of the early 80's. Jazzy...funky...sometimes both at once...wild and peaceful....and groovin'

Great song. I’ve always preferred The Queen of Soul’s version, seems to have more emotion in her voice.

yeah, As could also work well for a first dance of the couple, but for me it was about love, not directly about romantic love, and it is powerful.
