Boz Scaggs - Slow Dancer

The precursor to “Silk Degrees”. Highly underrated.

Bob Marley & the Wailers - a comp disc of my favorites from BMW spanning 1973 to 1979.

Saw them in the late ‘70s at the Waikiki Shell. Even though it was an open-air venue, I got 2nd hand stoned with all the ganja being lit up. Memories make us rich. ThumpUp

80F / 76% RH / 14 mph - overcast so helps keep the heat away

I love them too. One of my never forget shows was last October at the Austin City Limits music festival. Saw Paul McCartney sing Blackbird live.

Isley Brothers - Brother, Brother, Brother

Always liked them...was never a huge fan -- always enjoyed the vocals and the popish listenability; only recently begun to appreciate the musicianship and unique arrangements, especially of the covers....Ernie was a much better guitarist than I ever really realized

Ernie can play! Must be the Hendrix influence.

For those too young to know, early on, Jimi lived and played with the Isleys.

Yes...the original album.

Not a huge Prog guy but this a hell of an album. Starship Trooper is pretty damn great. That segued into Hawkwind - "In Search of Space" which segued into Klaatu - "3:47 E.S.T."

Yes...I am high.....why do you ask?

Genesis - Trick of the Tail

Was watching/listening to Rick Beato 'What Makes This Song Great' videos and he did one on Dance on a Volcano.....I love those WMTSG vids...he does a fantastic job with this one...had to listen to the whole album after that

He goes pretty deep into music theory sometimes, but if you just want to get a little bit more out of the music that you listen to more intently than as background noise, check out some of Beato's videos

Little Feat - Feats Don’t Fail Me Now

One of the best concerts I ever attended was LF at Andrew’s Amphitheater in ‘78. Jaco Pastorius of Weather Report fame played on the encore song (“Teenage Nervous Breakdown).

Love that one. That or Revolver is probably my favorite overall album, or Abbey Rd, or Sgt Pepper, maybe White Album.... Never mind. I've lost conviction and credibility

Samantha Fish, Live at Blues Blender Las Vegas from last year.

She's amazing. The sound quality and mix for a YouTube video is amazing. The fact that she is playing at the Belly Up in Solana Beach CA in a few months is...amazing. While most her cigar box guitars far outstrip mine, I'm seriously debating making two, give her one and get one autographed!

Watching the 40th Anniversary Director’s Cut edition of the Woodstock Festival and this performance will end Disc 1...always enjoyed Lee’s performance. This edition has some unseen footage so that’s a nice bonus.

A mixed disc of ‘70s stuff that I forgot I made. So far 3 songs from America and James Taylor playing right now so I’m guessing the rest of the disc is filled with soft acoustic folk rock.

Should be an interesting hour out in the garage...at least musically.

79F / 84% RH / 14 mph - mostly sunny with brief overcast moments
