Michael Murphey - Blue Sky-Night Thunder

First album I put on when I got my JBL L65 Jubals and Pioneer SA-9100 back in ‘75. Think I still had my Dual 1229Q with a Shure V15 Type III at the time. The piano intro to “Wildfire” was awesome. For months I saved every nickel and dime so I could buy the speakers and amp. At the time, it was of the happiest moments in my young life. Memories make us rich.

Angel City - Face To Face

Known as just “The Angels” back in Australia, they had an AC/DC-ish sound. Although “Can’t Shake It” is my favorite song from them, “Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again” is the song they’re best known for.

A lotta good late ‘70’s / early ‘80s music on this. This version on Spotify has all the songs from the movie including the ones not on the original vinyl release in ‘82.

Not for me, personally. But the wife would be all for it. Saw Leppard and Styx a couple summers back at her request. Currently, she's trying to convince me that Bon Jovi and Bryan Adams is a must see show this summer. Yet, I mention that Rage Against the Machine is reuniting for a couple of dates and get, "Yeah, so?" d'oh!

Yep, those are fighting words. Gonna have to go look at tour dates to see if they come near me..... will have to take the boy. No way my wife is going.... But, if Chicago comes to town "Poof" she's gone.

Edit: Woohoo! They will be coming August 5th..... But, they will be in Camden, N.J. Now I have to decide if it's worth risking a bullet. Camden is Afghanistan Lite.
