I like some of the CBID hold music. The keyboard jam one is good. Don't care so much for the flute one though.

Also new Pearl Jam (Gigaton) is outstanding.

Maybe you could set up a CBid on-hold herf with SmokeStaxx...

I was shocked to find out this wonderful band isn't in the RRHOF. I went through their discography album by album and was actually shocked that they were (to my ears anyways) better in the studio than the Beach Boys. They had a slew of hits and the lineup was a revolving door...another Zappa tied band too!

Couple things: 1). Never really listened to the lyrics till tonight, wow, didn’t realize the depth of them, 2). Glen is a helluva guitar player!

Anytime you run across a band and you read a review that is like this:

“TYS literally sounds like a 5th grade band trying to play a song they’ve never rehearsed with an instrument they’re unfamiliar with.”

Give them a spin. To me they sound like a mix between Queensryche, Primus and Supertramp. The lead singer will on some songs sound like Michael Jackson. Overall, I'm really surprised with the depth they have and am marking them as a band I must see live.

Vacation wrapup:
LZ - How the West was Won Disc 1
NIN - Year Zero
The Who - Live at Leeds
The Pretty Reckless - Light Me Up
Alice in Chains - Unplugged
Tricky - Pre Millennium Tension
NIN - With Teeth
Santana - Abraxus
Five Finger Death Punch - American Capitalist
The Beatles - Revolver
Tool - Lateralus
Halestorm - The Strange Case Of
Nirvana - Incesticide
And thoroughly enjoyed the hard rock station out of Gurney Mills. Chicago abandoned hard rock radio several years back. In particular a Chris Cornell cover of GnR's Patience which I hadn't come across before. Miss that voice

I saw him In Louisville, KY with Jeff Beck on the Fire Meets Fury Tour 9 months before he died. Great show! Little did we know that in a few short months he would be gone. Pray
