I remember when "IABD" was finally available on CD. Bought it immediately but it was an import so paid out a pretty penny for it. The FM stations back in the day played "White Bird" constantly but my favorite was "Time Is".

Rap Reiplinger - Poi Dog with Crabs

For me, Hawaii’s greatest comedian. This CD combines his first two albums, “Poi Dog” and “Crab Dreams”. Lotsa politically incorrect local jokes, he’d never get away with them today.

Nice to hear John5 again. With the passing of EVH, I really thought he would be hanging with DLR as they already have an album ready for release. Oh well...this has some tasty licks all over this album.

Love listening to some Zevon. Favorite quote from the show Californication, “Whiskey, weed, and Warren Zevon.”

Well, I went to the doctor
I said, "I'm feeling kind of rough"
He said, "I'll break it to you, son"

The more I listen to them, the more I see how they were overlooked during the New Wave. Flock of Seagulls, Duran Duran, Information Society and Thompson Twins completely ate off their plate.

I went to see him here in mich.

His warm up act was a stand-up comedian that wasn't very funny.

A buddy I went with got too drunk and started heckling the guy.

It pissed the guy off cause my friend was funnier and started getting laughs from the quiet audience.

We got kicked out

Some people have no sense of humor.

No...

It was a long time ago and one of my friends drove, but I think it was the Royal Oak music theater.

I remember the sidewalk around the building had stars handprints and signatures like at the TLC chinese theater in hollywood.
