Saw Sting, Frank Zappa and his son Dweezil there.

I saw Zevon at the Majestic...didn't remember the comedian...concerts are the ONLY thing I miss about living in the Detroit Metro area...well, that and Coney Islands.

I saw Frank at the Masonic Temple.
He asked all the girls to rip off their panties and throw them on stage cause he wanted to make a quilt.
Someone threw an empty bottle of whiskey.
Frank had all the house lights turned on and said he wasn't going to sing another song until the moron was ejected from the building.
A sea of fingers pointed to one guy.
The moron got ejected.
I went with the same group of idiots I went to se Warren with.
Fun times!

The new Kings of Leon album, When You See Yourself.

Not a decent song on the entire thing. They've neutered themselves into DMB territory.

Sad.

Listened to the Outlaws discography all yesterday...Thanks Bill.

RIP

Found this song via a tv show we're currently binging on. Intriguing duo out of VA, based in LA now. He's the music, she's the voice. Together they write meaningful lyrics that beguile their age.

A song that I regarded was made by an Alice In Chains wannabe band. More to them than that though.

Really dig the bassline on this. Sounds nice with a wah pedal and Gunk setting on my effects pedal.

Great pick Gene.

I really dig her take on Hallelujah. I'm real partial on Buckley's version this just makes it that celestial.

Yes! Another great song she does so well. For such a small woman she can also belt out a song, like "I Really Don't Care" by PostmodernJukebox.

Bad Company - self-titled debut album

Loved this when it came out in ‘74. We would crank up the volume after the department store closed and rocked out while closing up. Eventually, of course, one of the assistant store managers would come over and ask us to turn it down. We rarely made it past the 2nd song.

Ha. Guess Upchurch stole the music and added his own lyrics--I give him extra points for the rooster sounds though.

The lead singer from the video you linked kinda sounds like Robert Plant imo.
