Here's a throwback for the old Ginger Baker Fans. Recently found this original double vinyl album in pristine condition from and old radio station at a record shop in Estes, CO for $20.
Thought you might appreciate Conan.

Back when the design for an album was an artform, along with the music. Simply listen to the percussion by Ginger. He was a genius.

I've seen that documentary.......it doesn't portray him in the best light......he kinda comes across as a bit of a prick.you can see why he was always in conflict with his band mates. Not talking
Not saying I don't love the music,it just seems like it would be hard to like the man.

I am really digging the Living Colour release "Shade"

This is an awesome listen...so many catchy lyrics that have depth to them. That's so rare today.

"Program"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WMppG3caF5g

"Freedom of Expression"

"Who's That" - invoking Robert Johnson and Louis Armstrong as well as Howlin Wolf all in one song????

HIGHLY recommend this.

Good stuff....thank you, DMV. I don't think I've given them two thoughts since Cult of Personality days....never heard, but also love "Who Shot Ya".

I even like the rapping in the stuff....then again, as much as I generally dislike 'rap', I like some of it in my hard rock....ROTM, POD, RHCP, ...but not the yelling of HedPE, etc

Enjoying the buzz from winning a 16-person, race to 3, single elimination 8-ball tournament.

Rack 'em Up - Jonny Lang (Lie To Me 1997)

Expecting a few inches of snow this weekend, especially above 9,000ft. Ski Season is coming!
