Weak sauce. You can keep that Nazareth BS.

Tufono & Giammarese - self-titled first album

They make their cover of the Beatles “I’m a Loser” their own and the highlight of this relatively unknown duo. However, before going out on their own, Dennis Tufono and Carl Giammarese were part of the ‘60s group, The Buckinghams, so many of you have heard them before.

Queensryche - Empire

Tate's bulllschitt notwithstanding, Operation Mindcrime is brilliant. Empire is a bit more 'accessible', but it resonates ...and ages so well....Jet City Woman has been rattling around my head for last couple weeks, for no apparent reason....thanks Shawn for mentioning Tate.....I could listen to Empire every week, I think

Only saw them once, when they opened for the Stones in January ‘73. They didn’t have beards back then.

Been giving the Foo Fighters "Concrete and Gold" a really good spin...maybe I didn't give it the justice it deserved on the 3 times out.

It seems to be growing on me...same for the new Jack White album too!

My favorite song on the album

Traces of Dire Straits and Eagles here...enjoy!

Respect Commander? That's the only Zappa nod I hear on the album.

Here it is live...

I spotlit this as one of my favorite tracks on the album.

Yep. Mindcrime is the best concept album ever. It just frickin' rocks. And as you said, his BS aside, Geoff Tate has some frickin' vocal range.
