Papas Fritas is French fries or sometimes Potato chips.

Are they really going to call it that?

It's a bit better quality short filler than your typical. Even if they do just sweep the floor of the LP production line to make them, I'd like to try one. It's half the price of a normal LP.

Not to mention almost 1/2 the size of the normal LP

It just seems to me that instead of coming up/out with these, they could have used their rollers to add to the numbers of their regular production line.

It's not rollers they need, its the tobacco. Now they are using more of what they already have. Makes sense.

Ron,
For some reason I never really cared for the Ps. Got a box of Toros for about what you paid, and traded most of them to Blue.

Yup, I have a pretty darn firm rule not to pay more than four bucks a stick for little smokes; and I like to keep it at $3 or less.

I plow through petites way too quickly to pay Toro prices for them.

I will reserve judgement on the price until I try a couple. I thought the Baitfish was overpriced at $6 until I tried them, and though of course I wish they were cheaper, they're worth it.

Yep according to PT Barnum there's one born every second........If you're paying MSRP or more for this scrap you've proved him correct.DE's regular line is barely average IMO.......and maybe the LP's should command $6 at the top of the DE tier.Although I wouldn't pay it.

If you like em great for you

LP hoes will line up and drive the price up on these! I like LPs but kiss my ass if I'm paying what being charged now for these.

Lots cheaper that I enjoy more.

I wouldn't pay more then $3.50 a stick for them personally.

Just to many better options to many better quality stogies available.

Good for DE though they got the market in a death grip and it just keeps getting tighter & tighter Lol...

They could probably roll up some used toliet paper mix it with some long filler & sell it for $10 a pop & people would love it...

LOL!

Opinions are like azzholes.

Some stink more than others........6$ short filler......

Plenty of Boli/PL/JL/Partagas/RyJ Id rather smoke in that range. LP is overrated for the price anyways. Keep drinking the koolaid though, Steve Saka is counting on it.

Never thought I'd pay that for mixed filler, but I drank the koolaid. Not a bad cigar.

(Some of us think cubans are overrated, just sayin...Jamie)

Capo King,
If you really like them, and think that they're worth $6, enjoy. It's your money, dude.

Considering that's about what I paid for my boxes of T-52s and LP9s a couple years back, I couldn't justify paying that for a cigar made from scraps. Just say'n.

I hope you got a Brick of those on the monster a couple of weeks ago at $3.20/stick. Very nice cigar at that price!

Those and the Papi Chulo are my drivetime smokes to and from work each day.

The Undercrown is a nice $3 smoke. The $7 to $8 that some pay is nuts.

Daybeds just meant it was a lower priced LP. Agree with you but look at the Baitfish. Normal price is 6.50 for a small cigar. People might like em but I don't get it. Won't buy one at that price point.

I agree!! To bad I wasn't around two-three years ago for those deals!! I'm still learning though..I figure what the hell $30 for four sticks!! It's all hype.. I understand people's frustration over the price and for what it is....I just said I got'em today and I liked them...then all this ruckus about Saka's shoes....ect......lol

I don't take it personally. Obviously people take this hobby serious..and I respect that

After his snide comment about people complaining about high prices I quit listening to him. And that's where my new pair of shoes joke comes from, an old cartoon character said that before rolling dice.
