Smoked a 2011 Short Run and really enjoyed it. How about some recommendations for some of his other fuller bodied smokes. Thanks.

Obviously he is making some good cigars, people do love them just not doing it for me. That is one of the joys of this hobby, there is definitely something for everyone if you look.

I told ya the full sails are great, el capitans as well! BigGrin

I have a full sail from approx 2003 that is in my on-deck humi. Haven't been able to smoke for 10+ days with this damn sinus infection... hopefully this weekend I will be able to go sailing!

OUTRAGE!

The Short Run 2010 is one of the best med cigars I have ever had. The Elencos line esp the Acto Mayer and Elites are very good also.

I tried the Elenco, Elite I think it was. Got them from KPP, fired up a couple gifted the other three away.

I've long been a fan of ol' Ernesto's work and what I've tried of his recent stuff continues his trend of blending great smokes, IMO. So far, my favorite has to be the Club 52 maduro. Definitely a medium bodied cigar but great rich, creamy flavor.

^ I agree Chris, and as I've said before, It's on my bucket-list to smoke everything he's ever made. I have to say that my fav is still the good old La Gloria Cubana Series R which he watches over to this day like a mother hen... he sold all of La Gloria to General Cigar except that one cigar... the Series R.

^^ +1! I have found the New Wave to be a great morning stick with coffee. I need to buy more.

Tried the Elencos rott and was not a fan at all. After a few months of rest; huge difference. I'm down to one and don't want to smoke it til I get more.

Off the top of my head
Lefty
Doublehb
NJstone
Cwilhelmi
Nolen
Hambone
Smokestax

WTF.............where did they all go and why.

I didn't mention DPNewell because we know where he went......well we don't know where he went but we know why he is absent.

Lefty bombed me with some LFD then disappeared for some reason.

Dub I believe is banned but forget for what, good guy had some dealings with him on olh as well.

for some reason I kind of think NJstone had said he was cutting back shortly after I joined but could be wrong there

The rest I am not sure of but would be nice to get more BOTL back on here posting and stirring the pot
