Ho, Ho, Ho?!

Well, Al. It seems as though I will need to place you on the "Naughty List"! Dumpster diving for day old burritos is unbecoming for good little boys on the "Nice List"!

Uh oh...I might have ticked Secret Santa off by describing how I am assembling my gift package. I better hide the goodies he sent me before he comes and repossesses them...better yet, I'll start smoking them. Oh crap, that's going to take a long time...where can I hide all the goodies...

Ho, Ho, Ho!

Al, you are back on the "Nice List" if you are indeed spreading Christmas Cheer! No need to be glutonous and smoke 'em all at once; chain cigar smoking is not suggested. I am more than happy to have given you that gift. You are a deserving BOTL recognized for your willingness to give unto others.

Now, if you can guess my name, five chances, there will be another something sent your way for Christmas. And, AL, no cheating. Use your deductive reasoning prowess.

Merry Chrsitmas!

Your Secret Santa,

Kris Kringle

I can eliminate 11 of the 24 secret santa players who have been identified thus far. Looking at the remaining 13, I can cross off a few more, based on the contents of the gift box and the structure, grammar, style, spelling, expressiveness and thoughtfulness of the poem and letter. I suspect that I have come across this fine man before, however casually, possibly in a PIF, box-pass or trade contest, since a total stranger would not have been able to put this package together, so that eliminates a few more.

Excuse me while I do some research...

I promise I won't send the letter to the crime lab at SAPD, for fingerprint identification.

Ho, Ho, Ho... Al, you do that research and get back with dear old St. Nick. Tick, Tock. Tick, Tock.

Oh the weather outside is frightful,

but your gift was sure delightful.

I left it and quickly I did go,

because who I am you'll never know.

Thank you, kind sir!!!! for your thoughtful and generous gift. Here's wishing you and your family and loved ones the Merriest of Christmases and the Happiest New Year.
