Yaro gets caught up with work. He'll post receipt when he can. Tracking shows delivered. You're definitely good to go.

That said, procedure must be followed. You have to ask, "who wants to send me some smokes?"

Who wants to send me some smokes??????
I certainly understand what it’s like to get caught up with work. I’m hoping they arrived in good condition and that he was happy with what he had.

I'm closer to being the newest n00b than you are, benja! I joined in 2020, you're an old fart from 2015! fog

But I completely agree. It's nice to see some new guys coming into the fray!

you aren't wrong about the old fart part but I only occasionally lurked till covidmania got me housebound around Feb of 2020, still a little earlier than you tho.
Still enjoying the treadmill?

Oh yeah, the treadmill is awesome!! We had a spare TV and an Amazon Fire Stick, so I bought a full-motion wall mount for it, and set it up in front of the treadmill, so now the wife and I can watch whatever we want while we're working out! It's really nice to walk on the treadmill while watching first person POV walking videos on YouTube!

Hope you're making it through Covid-a-palooza safely!

Got an appointment for vaccine from VA on Friday. The city and local hospitals never have enough. Getting an appointment from them was impossible. 1B here is age 65 and up but includes anyone over 16 with co-morbidity health issues, that turns out to be 60% of the population in San Antonio. Too many fatties with diabetes and high blood pressure. More than 1 million people and so far we have gotten 70k doses. At that rate my poor wife will be waiting till next year.
I have a hard time watching tv while running but it could be because I take my glasses off. I listen to music and screech along.

Enjoy Jake! I love that Churchill serie v, I can usually get about two hours out of it, perfect in the evening with a book. The Famous Nicaraguan is a 3000 series, there’s speculation that it comes from Oliva, but as far as I know no one really knows. As I said in my intro, the Lot 23 is my go to value line smoke. Both that cigar and the slow age are the Sun Grown variants. Let me know what you think once you get to smoking.
Sun, as Jimmy Buffett says, math sucks.

It's like join a cigar forum was the top resolution this year.

Welcome Tyler. Check out the first post for detailed rules, but in short, you just take whoever's up (jakethesnake currently) and send him smokes. Once that's rolling, you ask the question and someone picks you up

Consider posting an intro thread in yhe general discussion so the folks here can get to know you. Remember, waffles is NOT the correct answer

It might be if I would stop breaking my own promises to stop buying, and of course the overly generous trades and unsolicited hits don't help. I'm actually pretty full. Got one giant tupidor with nothing but unopened boxes resting another half szed with loose sticks in various tray and boxes and a large counter top "library" glass faced one that is a mix. Then the 3 cannisters for stuff I'm smoking now.
So no...not low Mr Cat. Pulling out the 4th cannister to prepare and planning to do some re-arranging this weekend. Mrs 123 was smoking one a day with me for a while but she quit when the weather got cold.

Oh well, now you'll have enough for a couple weeks at least!

I always wished I could have gotten Mrs. Cat to smoke with me. She took a puff once, and didn't care for it AT ALL. She had no problems sitting outside with me while I smoked and we played backgammon with a few drinks though. I do miss smoking and the act of just staying still for a little while, but overall I feel better. I've lost 24 lbs since I quit smoking and drinking.....

Cat, congrats on the weight loss! I also stopped drinking last year. Between that and exercising, I’m down 40, I feel better as well. Curious why you decided to quit cigars too?

Jsnyder, congrats on your weight loss too!

My quitting was on the advice of my doctor, which led to the pleading of my wife, that if I wanted to live longer than my father (he died in 2017 at the age of 61), I needed to quit smoking and drinking right away. Some heart issues were noticed, including high blood pressure and a "mechanical" issue with my heart, possibly the start of AFIB or a faulty valve.

I've been feeling a lot better, but miss the smoking and drinking sometimes, especially after a stressful day.

I think once a month or so for smoke or a drink or two wouldn't kill ya. When I was heavy into bodybuilding I would be ridiculously healthy all year till my 2 week vacation when we drove down to Puerta Vallarta. I would drown myself in booze and cigars for those 2 weeks then come back and be healthy again. Retired at 72 without any issues and still lifting weights altho lighter now. And my vacations once I can travel are usually more frequent and longer.
Everyone needs to do what works for them. My grandmother had a scotch every night before she went to bed, lived to be 101 and was still golfing at 98. No cigars tho.
I draw the line at crepes

Not sure why the occasional cigar would be a problem as long as you don't inhale.

And I say this as a medical professional.
I can help with the "mechanical" issue with your heart.
I happen to be a heart mechanic Carson.

PM me the details and we'll schedule a time to have you pull into the shop...

I don't think a cigar every now and then would hurt me, but if I have one, I'll want more, and a couple drinks to go with it. I suppose that's my method of self-control, all, or nothing at all.

I guess I could also bend over and let you "check my oil level" since I'll be in the shop!

I think what scares me most is that my father died at 61 from undiagnosed heart issues, and his father died at 63 from the same undiagnosed heart issues. I'm starting to think it's genetic. I'd love a cigar and scotch, but I don't want to take any chances. I waited 30 years to meet the love of my life and get married, and seeing as she is 13 years older than me, I want to make sure we're both healthy and can have as long as possible together on this earth.

I'm going to prescribe one cigar a week with multiple pours of Snapple Diet Peach Tea.
Keep the rest out of sight. Locked in a safe if necessary, with the combo only known by your wife.

That's TW's area of expertise. He will be doing an extended check of all your fluid and septic levels,
along with a thorough cavity search. Be prepared. This will take a protracted period of time.

He takes pride in his work and is very thorough...

I know the rules but it doesn't preclude b*itching and moaning so...
I was minding my own business, actually thinking about quitting for a while cuz I'm burning up so much gas trying to keep warm. This pile on is unwarranted. I'm waving a white flag but I think the damage is done once I go look over at the other PIB trades according to Marcus. Youse guys *arm punch* are too much.
Thanks Marcus for the pickup and CTC you smelly cat for the gift
