Thank you. As for the medication, I was feeling so much better that I decided I didn’t need it anymore. So I quit. Everything seems to be absolutely, incredibly, 100%, over the top wonderful and fantastic! Except for those black dog days when I’m feeling homicidal.

Drg it appears you have hit me. Had to backtrack to see what shenanigans had led up to this. I haven’t browsed the forum as much since the mobile site got shut down. It’s new and foreign to me.

I’ll learn it.

Damage report. Also thank you for the pass jeebs!
BOTL corona. These are really good cigars. I’ve not had the corona but I’m looking forward to it
Blanco nine petit corona. Love the size. Nh
Alec Bradley prensado romusto. I have smoked these for quite a while looking forward to revisiting
La Gloria Cubana series R romusto. Been awhile but I used to like em
La Gloria cubana esteli romusto. Also been a long time. I don’t remember these but I know I plucked one from a box pass here once
Montesino Connecticut Churchill I believe. NH
Montesino maduro romusto. I’ve smoked several that you’ve sent me and like em
Cao consigliere romusto (associate) liked the 5er I bought
Ava Marie figurado. Never had the figurado. But I like these after a long nap. Didn’t know they made a figurado
Little skinny fuente. Like the ones that come in tins
Jamie Garcia bout a toro. Love these
3 padrons!!! (I love these) a 4000 a 2000 and a 6000.

Charles has sent me a lot of these aged padrons. I think he adopted me. Every time I think I’m out of well aged padrons he sends more. Think I had one left from a prior bombing so now I have extras so my box can get some actual age before I smoke on them. Thank you once again Charles. Very nice bombing run.

yea, i guess ive become a bit of a 1 trick pony with those aged Montesino and Padrons but glad you enjoy them. my stash of those 20 year old boxes has dwindled to just a few boxes left so i will need to get some restock and aging started lol. at one point i had 3 boxes of each x000 series with at least 18 years on them, think i am down to 1 box of each now.

Lesson learned. The more you eff around, the more you find out. Corey hit me with an unbelievably generous and enormous MOAB. Several high quality singles, a couple full collector boxes, another unique collector item “De Culebro”, and a brand new refillable torch lighter. Most of these are dated 2017 and 2018 and the only cigars I have that are older than 6 or 7 months are a few singles I’ve received as gifts from other brothers. I expect to be claimed as an exemption on Corey’s 2024 tax filing. Corey, this is truly over the top generosity. I would not have bought myself a variety of this many top shelf cigars in 6 months or more. This is greatly appreciated, I’m excited to have them, and I will carefully rest / age them and smoke them all (which I can hardly wait to do!). Thank you so much, Corey.

Loose sticks:
AVO Fogata Toro
AVO RITMO Toro
Balmoral Sig Ser Paso Doble Gran Toro
DE De Culebro Medusa braid, in box
DE Undercrown Toro
DE Undercrown Maddie Toro
Espinosa Laranja Toro (x2)
LFD 1994 Toro
LFD Air Bender Toro
LFD Cammie Cabinet Toro
LFD Coronado (x3)
LFD Dbl Ligero Chisel
Rojas St Taco Carnitas Toro (x2)

Boxed / packaged:
LFD Toro 6 Selection Sampler box
Oliva Master 4 BP Sampler box
Room 101 Master Collection 3 cigar / collector box of 20
Tatuaje Black, Corona / collector box of 20
Xikar refillable torch new in box

Frying pan Frying pan Frying pan

Referring back on this post I wanted to thank you again, Corey. I’ve really enjoyed the smokes and it has been a lot of fun comparing different wrappers and vitolas and asking myself. “Why do I like this wrapper better than the other?” I’m sharpening my knowledge of cigar tobacco and construction.

I got slapped around by new pal, B.21. An assortment of never-hads and old favorites. Some of these dudes are enormous too. Great hit, Bill. I will enjoy smoking these and I appreciate the lighter and punch as well. You’ve really jumped right in with your trades. Well done, sir!

The goods:
CAO Fasa Noche - NH
DE Nica Rustica Adobe -NH
Oliva Serie V
H. Up. SE Barber Pole-NH and I’ve wondered about this
LGC Wavell Esteli, old favorite and a beautiful specimen here, dark and oily. Smoked it already, it was terrific
Macanudo Inspirado Orange
Punch Gran Puro Nic, also an old favorite, underrated cigar IMHO
Punch Knuckle Buster Habano in war club vitola, been wanting to try this for awhile
RP Dark Star - NH
Sancho Panza Extra Chido-NH and I’ve had these in my shopping cart many times but ended up putting them in my wish list for a later date. I’m stoked to get to try this. The Sancho Panza Double Maduro BP Maduro is underrated and they put out a consistently high quality construction in my experience and that’s why I’ve wanted to try one of the other blends. Nice hit.

Thanks, Bill. This is a terrific assortment of tobacco.

A couple of weeks ago I smoked my first Montesino and I believe it was a Maduro. Papa Whiskey sent it to me last March. It was very good and I was surprised because up until then I didn’t recall having heard of it before - though I’m sure there was some mention of it here and there that I missed. I thought it must be a very expensive cigar. When I looked it up I was surprised again, due to the affordable price for such a terrific cigar. I bought a fiver on the spot. I would have bought more but, you know, storage.

I smoked that Warped Corto after supper tonight. Warped is like Tatuaje in that the more blends I try, the more I like the maker. I read that the Corto was the first full profile Warp blended. It strikes me as a proper “boutique” cigar, by which I mean it’s very well made, tasty, has some oomph and can go toe-to-toe with other popular premium cigars. I enjoyed it and definitely felt like I had smoked a cigar even though it is a smaller vitola. Thanks, Greg.

For a short smoke the Liga Papas Fritas Unico series are a damn good choice as well, IMO. Worth pulling the trigger when one can find for $4. I have the H99 as well, but haven't ashed one yet. They tend not to go below $5

same here, i had never heard of them but got a few boxes that had been aged for over a decade in the same deal that got me all the aged Padron's and a bunch of Fuente 858s i was very impressed once i found out the current price. if you have the room and patience they make a great budget smoke when aged well.

I’m starting Tiver Week down on the old home place and I’m looking forward to it not only for the plethora of never-hads upcoming but also for the vitolas you shared with me. I replenished my desktop-go-to-smoke box last night and it is full of your smokes.

Is there a place that sells aged boxes or is this a private type trade between individuals?

I checked my notes and the Montesino PW sent was a broadleaf. That’s the fiver I bought and put to sleep but I’ll be getting more if I ever get room in storage.

Yes, that was a broadleaf. I read somewhere that it was one of the first brands that Arturo Fuente came out with. That's what got me to try them. I think my favorite is the robusto or toro broadleaf maduro, basically the same but the toro is 6 inches long and robusto 5 both 50rg. If you don't care about the box and like the size you can get a mazo of 25 Napoleon Grande 7.5x46 for $89 at the Tampa place.

it was a private deal after a friends brother passed away and he was helping his SIL clean out stuff. had one of those huge doubledoor refridge style (Remington or something like that) humidors that was stacked with tons of unopened boxes and all the temps and humidity were perfect. i bought some from them and he gave me a few extras because i helped him donate the bulk to cigars for warriors as he and his brother both servered.

Charles, an unhappy circumstance but I’m sure he would be happy to know that the cigars went to someone who appreciates good tobacco, not to mention the cigars for warriors organization. Good on ya’, mate.
