Most of mine have already been mentioned, though it took awhile for any Mel Brooks films to be mentioned.
Any Mel Brooks film, and another favorite that hasn't been mentioned yet, and one of my favorites, M*A*S*H the movie.

MASH the movie was okay to me. Now MASH the TV series I can watch over and over and I do. I dvr 3 episodes a day. Whenever I'm building a computer or working on a model I put MASH on in the backround.

Funny....I'm exact opposite. I can't figure out why I liked the show when first run. Hasn't aged well at all for me. Maybe it took me a few years to come to the realization that I really hate Alan Alda...IDK. The movie, on the other hand, took a couple/few watchings before it really grabbed me. Gould and Sutherland are fantastic.

And I think the Mash theme song also affects me....I watched the show for years before seeing the movie - the music is sort of fun, almost bouncy. After watching the movie, Suicide is Painless is so much more and far better when sung sort of mournfully. The show cast aside the darkness and played off funny dialog that didn't age well.

The Twelve Chairs, probably the most overlooked and underrated MB film. I went to see Blazing Saddles back in 1974 and 12 Chairs was first show of a double feature. Basically, only a fog will have have ever gone to a double feature.

Back in the 60's, I remember watching movies on base as a child (Camp LeJeune) for a dime. They had a huge screen theater with aisles of 10 cent turnstiles at the entrance. Remember seeing Zulu there. Thousands of gigantic flapjacks bouncing in unison- speaking of movies I could watch again... Dad had a conniption trying to cover our eyes.Drool

That french girl was so hot. I was in love with her for years. Funny thing is John Cusack hates this movie. To this day he refuses to talk about it!

Patton
Taken
Office Space

TV is MASH or Dexter...both of which I watch when building my models also. Although, I like early MASH...after season 5 it turned into an Alan Alda PC lovefest. I also love Kitchen Nightmares...something about idiots in denial.

Ok....now back to movies:

Patton is another good one as well as Tora Tora Tora. Basically any movie made in the 60's or 70's about WW2 are awesome. A lot of great movies have been listed but I'm asking about movies you can just watch over and over. For some reason Doc Hollywood is a movie I can watch over and over. It's a relaxing funny movie that's never going to be on any list for greatest movies of all time but I never get tired of it. Forrest Gump is an amazing movie! I love it but I can't watch it to often because I get bored. So don't just list great movies or just your favorites. A lot of my favorite movies would get old if I watched them once a month for a year but a movie like Doc Hollywood I could watch once a month for a year and never get tired of it.
