Jim Beam Black - Never lose my appreciation for it’s flavor. And still taste the cigar from an hour ago. Phenomenal

not to mention the wine/rum/sake/vodka-gin threads that are slacking as well.

If I ever posted all my drinks, well, nothing good would come of it!

Never tried those. Now on my list - thanks

One of my favorites in this category: Ezra Brooks 90 proof
Very inexpensive, but doesn't taste that way!

How's retired life Frank? I am thinking about getting a bottle of BullyBoy for my BIL this coming month. He is going on what is supposed to be his last orders for Marines before retirement (this is the 3rd time he's said this though) and I thought it would be a nice surprise for him when he gets back. Can you get, or any of your Masshole friends and I will make it worth their while for their time.

retirement has it's issues, but I'm finding my way.

I can probably get any bottle of any liquor made by Bullyboy, just let me know what you want.
I haven't had more than a taste of a few things but wasn't blown away...but I get the "local" attraction.

I believe it is the Bourbon he likes? I will have to research it some and let you know.

Just went to their site, it is the American Straight Whiskey he likes.

Jamison for a fallen Marine EOD tech brother last night prepping for my worst holiday of the year.

Matter of fact, gonna pour a couple of fingers, light up a cigar and enjoy rebuilding some brake calipers instead of the crowds on Memorial Day.

Second-to-last pour. Been nursing this bottle since we came back from Japan in October ‘17. So glad I bought 2 bottles.

Toss the ice...….the only bourbon I add one and only one small cube to is Elijah Craig Barrel Proof,136 proof.1 small cube seems to tame it just enough and bring out the best in this 12 year old whiskey

Not sure about Jamie's opinion but I'd say yes......HELL YES!!! A great bottle of rye for $20...….not many of them out there like that.I drank some $80 rye that I thought was mediocre at best,Whistlepig. So even $40 for the OF would be a good deal.

I just picked up 2 more bottles last week...….so yea I like it....a lot

Good to hear, I found one for $27 couple months ago and only one I have seen here locally. WP 10 yr rye (I think the one with the cream or yellow label) is not very good imo. I have heard their other offerings are though.

This is one of my sleeper bourbon's......much better than the label or price might suggest.

Next time we get together I have an ice dong we can drop in your bourbon.

bought my first bottle of Buffalo Trace in several years.
well worth 24 skins.
very soft and sweet for 90 proof. easy drinking neat.
Like it at that price. But not a top 5 overall.

edit: almost wrote a haiku.
