I think I pay $24 but I wouldn't drive a half hour for it. I would post an ISO for it with some premium cigars included for your trouble of posting a review.

local finally got dickel in and grabbed a bottle of 12 to take with me on a ski trip this week. think I may need something to warm me up if I want to get a smoke in. temps look like a high of 26 for the entire week at WISP resort..

Yep not as sweet as many other bourbons and just the right amount of oak.

Fixing to pour me some of the same.

Unfortunately, off of the Bourbon until I'm done with meds to kill H1N1.

oh yeah! but it will disappoint those seeking the dominating sweetness of standard bourbons.

Yea but it is a Tennessee Whisky.......not a bourbon.I love that maple syrup flavor on the finish.I assume it's from the sugar maple charcoal filtering. They definitely got it right....Jack Daniels taste like actual burnt charcoal.

To me the George Dickel offerings remind me more of Scotch........copper pot distilled corn mash scotch.LOL

that's a pretty interesting take, actually. May have to change my mindset next time...
But I'd bet most who buy it are crossover bourbon drinkers.

I'm a bourbon guy just recently starting to understand some scotches, not peaty smokey ones though.

No peat,no smoke for me either.I love Macallan Sherry Oak.....especially the 18 but damn it's pricey.I prefer the Balvenie Doublewood 12 over the Macallan 12.Wifey bout me a bottle of Bavenie Doublewood 17 for Christmas.Good but not in the same league as the 18 yo Macallan.

There you are. Is the 17 worth double the coin? DW12 or DW17 for the money? Thanks.
