Swirling is weird. Don’t do it.

No whiskey for me this week.

Personally like the 107 better than the Weller 12.

I’m not a bourbon guy, but I started on the 101 in high school and it’s still my go to. Great whiskey at an excellent price. At this point, I keep only keep 101 and Dettling in my wet bar consistently. I suspect there’s Maker’s Mark, but that’s my oldest son’s.

I keep at least 10 different bourbons, all price ranges. Got favorites in every category, and like to add in something different every once in a while...

LOL. It was a splurge 8 years ago? Paid retail at Binny's in Chicago. I want to say $130 ish? Spendy but it was a bucket list. If you feel like trying Pappy, this and the family reserve rye are the best examples in the line. The 15 is way better than the 20, and the 23 is really really oaky and has a lot of tannin in it. I didn't like that one so much.

I would buy another 15 year if I found one without hesitation though. Beer

Thanks for the tip. Any words of advice for Green Spot?

While I’m at it, for future reference, got something for Red Spot?
