I went to get the 16 per your suggestion but they were outta the 16 so I settled for the 12. It's no A'bunadh, but it's not bad. Was thinking about trying a bottle Blanton's, thoughts?

Not too keen on bourbon so I never had Blanton's. Find that 16, though. I think you'll like it.

Blanton's is one of the most consistent Single Barrels out there......I've never had a questionable bottle. If you can get your hands on it jump in with both feet.I picked up a bottle few months back, had to drop 85 bones to get it,most I have ever paid.I'll hold it back for a special occasion more than likely since it is very scarce in Texas

I still think it's crazy that Age International sells more expressions of Blantons on the international market than here in the US. And just as amazing is the fact that I bought my Straight From the Barrel bottles for less than what you paid for the "regular" Blantons.

I find that a small glass of Cazadores over ice with a squeeze of limon pairs nicely with an aged La Riqueza on my roofdeck.

Todo chido!
