basically a bourbon guy, but when offered choices of Scotch I stay as far away from smokey/peaty as possible.
Sherried and that sort are very good though...to me.

You still may not like it, it's scotch, but if you are the beverage store of your choice and they will give you a sample (or they have a little sampler 50ml bottle), swig some. It just tastes like a refreshing scotch you could drink a lot of, with maybe a hint of apricot or caramel.
