George Dickel Barrel Select old fashioned #1...

Four Roses Single Barrel old fashioned #2... better than GD, imo. And I need to get to Costco because that bottle is g-o-n-e.

Gonz

Never seen a 1.75 bottle here. The best price for a 750 has been $31.

I've had 3 Old Fashioned. George Dickel barrel select, Four Roses Single Barrel and Wild Turkey 101... Wild Turkey was the best one. Not because it was the 3rd one, but because it tasted great and WT101 is the cheapest of the 3 bourbons.

3 finger pour of EC with one big ice cube to finish it off. Got the iTunes blastin'.

Sleep's comin' easy... but it'll be fitful after 4-5 hours of it. Meh... ain't gotta work tomorrow, and the wife is home to cook me a greasy breakfast.Beer

If my favorite bartender is tending in the late Fall and Winter, I order up a WT 101 Double Manhattan with an 🫒.
Because of her bad wrists, it turns out to be a triple.

One and done on those evenings.

Weak sauce.

Although the bottom half of this EC looks to be more than I bargained for.

Sleepy. I spose it'll be there tomorrow to get me up for a dog walk. Eh?

BARF!

Old Grand-Dad bottled in bond - first time having any OGD, first snort tasted way to much like Candian Mist, but after that it got much better. Been wondering, I've noticed that first pours sometimes seem "off" on some bottles (first pour I had of Old Tub was similarly weird) and was wondering if anyone else has noticed anything similar?

Neck pours are a thing, you ever tried Makers 46? Get past the neck pour and let the bottle sit a week…..strongest cherry bourbon I’ve ever had. Old Grandad 114 is really good for the $

So if you shook a new bottle just before opening it, would you avoid the dreaded neck pour? Think

Don’t think so, it’s not the product in the neck I believe it is like aerating wine.

The new 90 proof?I liked the old 86 but there is more than an additional 2% alcohol increase here............mucho more better in my opinion.

ASW Distillery Fiddler Georgia Heartwood whiskey from a single barrel. It's a whiskey with a high wheat content.

Pretty smooth and tasty too.

Amador Straight Whiskey with Hops

It’s a blend of 60 percent straight malt whiskey, and 40 percent hop-flavored whiskey, which is distilled from Racer 5 IPA, a craft beer brewed by the Bear Republic Brewery.
