Its a new company, and I always am down to try new things. It had a very very nice smokiness to it. Went really well with the litto, even better with the Ashton VSG

Monkey Shoulder Scotch, not bad, pretty smooth, apparently a blend of 3 different single malt speysides. 30 bucks at total wine, I know, I know.....not a true single malt, but a good one for the price

Kip - seriously funny. I'm drinking Monkey Shoulder right now as well. Pairing pretty good with this cigar as I wait for the grill to be ready.
It's actually very good, lots of pepper in the finish, and I mean the scotch.

Good pairing, although the rocks didn't stand a chance in this heat. All Gore you can have your global warming back.

And would you believe that the legal scum @ Duke Univ. is fighting them over the use of ( THE ) DUKE in the naming of their bourbon.....

I wasn't at the event, but a while ago the local had a promotion for The Duke, and John Wayne's son was supposedly going to be there pouring tastes.

There are so many to choose from. 2 yr, 4, 7, 8. I believe there are more. The interesting thing is the juice isn't really theirs. The distillery only started producing it's own around 2012 i believe. So the current 2 year is their own make, next year's release of the 4 year will be their own as well.
Nobody really knows where the current stock comes from. Some say HH, Buffalo Trace...I don't think anyone knows for sure.

Basil Hayden's. Had half a rocks glass full of this last night. Neat. My wife bought it for me for Christmas. Just opened it. Very smooth bourbon.
Weller '12. Tonight in a rocks glass half full, neat. My first taste of this, more bite then last nights but very good bourbon.
