Sat with a client Thursday late in his office and made a dent in a bottle of Willet he received for Christmas.
I need to get better friends and clients.

When I was on my bourbon quest around Chicago last summer I picked up a bottle of the EW 1783, for the money pretty good, finished it off last night. Won't get another, with the profile it had I'll stick to Jack.

If you actually like Jack, you really should try Dickle 12.

And if you want a real treat grab some Green Spot.

We have quite a few micro distilleries popping up in Oregon, 2 here in southern Oregon!

Stein Distillery straight bourbon barrel #180 bottle #50 . Young Aged 2 Years and it tastes it but the finish is outstanding. This is out of Joseph Oregon by Bend.

I should play the lottery.

Orphan barrel barter house
Orphan barrel forged oak
Old forester
Old forester birthday bourbon
Blade and Bow
Elijah Craig 18
Plus three more locals I can't recall.

EC 18 hands down the winner.

Nice night in KY.

Almost the last of it here and not buying anymore because of the price increase. Only $3 more and I can have Basil which is way better imo.

Only a few places get it here and one shpo jacked up the price to about $50. The other one charged $40 but kept it stashed away for "special" customers.

yeah 40 was my cutoff as it was 30 just 2 years ago but I guess they are capitalizing off the popularity of it now that he has passed which I feel is just wrong. Plenty of other good bourbons out there in that range I would rather have honestly.

Thought it was high, my local has decided to go the route of charging a fortune for any htf bourbon this past year.

Bottom dollar this year went up to like $70-80 depending on state taxes. I paid $90. My best local source for everything tacked on at least $10 to almost everything in the low-mid range. W12, ETL, ECBP, OFBB all + $10.

What pisses me off the most is, that $10 dolla doesn't mean **** on 2 dozen bottles compared to all the money they make off college kids from IU buying piss tons of **** vodka and **** beer. Thank you for **** your loyal expensive bourbon customers to make an extra $240.

It was flipping on secondary market for $200-220. Bottlebluebook says its down to $160. Thank your local for charging secondary market prices. !@#$ers
