Four roses single barrel. Think I like the small batch a little better but only 3 fingers into this bottle.

About 4oz of bookers last night. Only had a burger and some pasta salad all day yesterday, you need to plan a little better than I did, that's for sure.

Killed off a third of a bottle of jack Daniels last night on the patio, nice night for a fire.
Started out with a La Casita and finished the night with a petite cabiguan
Perfect fall night.

Stagg Jr.

Little more h2O this go 'round. It's a good whiskey, just not my favored profile. Lotta citrus.

Guy said that the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection should be arriving here in the next week or so. Anyone wanna give a suggestion on which to buy? Put my name on a few lists (including one for Pappy 15!).

Would love to get some Weller, Handy, AND Stagg, but might have to choose just one. I like wheated bourbons and rye so...

Also, I tasted some Black Maple Hill earlier this week. I thought it was great. I think that some of you Booker's fans might enjoy it.

I also like Black Maple Hill alot. Haven't seen it around here for quite a while...and that is not a mooch hint. But if you come across Rock Hill Farms, buy it.

Thanks for the heads up on the release. I just called my buddy at the liquor store and got my name near the top of the list for Pappy. We'll see what happens.

Nice^

Mikey, did you try that True Blue 100 yet? It is becoming one of my absolute favorites.

Frank, I saw a bottle of Rock Hill today and almost snagged it, but the Black Maple Hill has been VERY hard for me to find, so I had to go with that one. Little bit of price difference also helped me decide.

Do companies sell samplers of smaller bottles so that one can try a few different types?

Not many that I know of. Bought a Glenmorrangie bottle that came with samples of three other expressions once. There is some online site in the UK that will sell 50ml bottles...malt somethin or other.

The new Balcones Single barrell is being sold there first...WTH. 150 bucks for a 750! There is another planned release for the states though...we'll see.

I guess I just have to take chances as I purchase. Do you use a decanter set?
