I'm at the sister in laws (almost) for her 30th birthday in Yreka California, so I don't get to drink any till I get back home to S. Oregon.

Beers cold though.

Just the regular here as well I can't afford the 18yr or whatever that expensive batch is. Stagg sitting at my local for $450 just crazy hope it never sells to be honest.

Noah Mills and Rowan Creek have been sitting on the shelves forever here, they don't seem to sell and are slightly out of my want to try price range, for that money I would buy Bakers or Bookers.

I take my whiskey seriously ........and about 4 fingers per drink.

Got a bottle of Sazerac I really want to tap into but it's hard to find in my neck of the woods.......I need a backup bottle first damnit.

Yeah I think Z got post of the week on that one!

Sazerac with a Tavalera and it is raining yet again here. Have a feeling I will never get to enjoy my cigars and beverages on the deck this year.

Not whiskey but Tito's for me tonight. I think Dripping Springs was Wheel's favorite, but Tito's is easier to come by here.... and not bad.

I had some good 'uns yesterday. Went with my local down to Jim Beam to pick barrels.

On the bus on the way down:
EH Taylor Seasoned Wood
Sazerac 18 (pretty phenomenal)
OWA Loch & Key private barrel
W12 to compare against the seasoned wood
Belle Meade 10 yr (MGP juice but damn good)
Ancient Ancient Age 10 yr Tax Stamped and UPC code so early 80's somewhere

Barrel Picks:
3 jim beam single barrels, picked barrel B
3 knob creek single barrels, picked barrel 3 the blue one!

Bus on way home:
Knob Creek 2001

then I fell asleep...

I swear this makes no since.....You find a bottle in frigging Hawaii,Z can get it in Oregon,I just returned from a Kentucky trip. Not sure how many liquor stores I went into.....probably 20 at least.I asked for Sazerac in everyone......2 maybe 3 took me to an empty shelf.....The rest just laughed, one ask if I'd like a bottle of Pappy to go along with it.

The only thing I grabbed that is HTF is a bottle of Bulliet Barrel Proof(mine is 119 proof, some out there to 125).......my research says if you find it it'll be in Kentucky and no where else.55 bones.....better be good,I do love the 10 yo.

Oh I also snagged a bottle of Climax Moonshine.....simply because I like Tim Smith and his distribution network hasn't made it to Texas yet.
