the legends do smoke hotter, but mine are pretty caked up and i don't notice. i like the larger bowls though, and as i progress, i am acquiring more of the danes and have a country gent coming now. the fleabay guy is sending me a new general and that is a much larger bowl.

So size wise how do the various cobs compare for those that have multiples?

I have found the Great Dane spool and country gentleman are about the same, how do others compare in size in your experience

Newbie to a pipe.

Ringsize set me up with a newbie sampler of different blends to try. A couple bowls each of a dozen or more different blends. I've been enjoying his selections this past couple weeks.

Lots of blends to try... too little time. I have much to learn and try but it's not a race.
