Hmm, not really sure what to do. I tried (and failed) to find anything useful online. I'd go to the office but I can't get there until Saturday (at which point it may already be on its way back to you).

Don't sweat it. Nobody died (... I used to work in a hospital a l-o-n-g time ago so if you're still breathing, it's ok...). Let's keep our fingers and toes crossed that it'll end fine.

So you're saying I'm overreacting, huh?

OK, you're probably right...I'll check again tomorrow. Whistle

Thanks again for sending it. Beer

Just give the PO a phone call with the tracking# and ask what is up.

Thanks, I tried that but sat on hold for 15 minutes before hanging up. A little googling tells me that in most cases it'll just show up the next day -- it probably just went out on the wrong truck or something.

The perfect storm:

You're following the truck with your Segway, big pothole in the road, mail carrier texting on his phone, truck's left front tire goes right into the pothole, impact causes the rear door to pop open, the sudden jolt also causes the tape on the box to separate thus loosening the label, box tumbles out, label separates from the box while it's airborne, parcel lands in your outstretched arms. You find the nearest park bench, tear open the unlabeled package and enjoy jerky, smokes and other stuffs.

Is that what happened?

You better be driving something fast, he's got the top-of-the-line Segway.

Depending on the amount of 4Loko that he has had, it may not be that tough.

There's a wrecked Segway in my driveway, and I found some dude in the my backyard wearing a jester hat, surrounded by clouds of smoke, and he seems to be chomping on some meat. Think that's busa?

If so its him and you should go in the opposite direction... broken segways dont move that quick so you should be safe at a walking pace.

Keep the faith baby! Gotta hope your box suffered from the Wrong Truck Syndrome and USPS has figured it out. It's happened to a box I sent out before. "Undeliverable." Thought it was ME that fugged up (...wrote the wrong addy...) but it did eventually get to the right person. Nothing really perishable in the box...unless they take a few months or years to find you. d'oh!

Thanks, Palama. No updates on the tracking since Thursday, so maybe it's not headed back to you. Maybe those chumps at the P.O. are chomping away at the jerky right now...I'm gonna head over there and find out.

Make sure some mall cop with a shiny helmet riding a Segway isn't following you.
