Made my way over after carefully checking for segway-perched miscreants...the woman could not locate the package, but given that it didn't show any updates since Thursday, she told me to prepare my WRONG TRUCK OUTRAGE as that's probably what had happened. If so, she thought it would make it to my house one day next week.

Man, this is gonna be the best-tasting jerky of my life.

I'm a bowhunter here as well, and have started exclusively bowhunting since moving to MN. I participate in a Metro Hunting program here and actually hunt some of the parks around the Minneapolis metro area, but still looking for other land to hunt, but it's scarce around here.

X do you have your own land or are you public land hunting in NE?

DD where are you located?

Never seen a hunt and herf idea on here, but this has me thinking. Just need to think of what type of game is readily accessible by a group of hunters, but still able to meet up and have a good time.

Hmm, might have spoken too soon...it seems the package has made its way to Columbus, OH. So they did in fact find it, apparently.

So Palama, I guess you used Bolt's addy as the return address? LOL horse Flapper

Hehe. I've got a lot to learn about this place. Palama mentioned something to me about it being sent to Columbus, but I thought he meant that if it got returned to him, he would pack it up and send it to Columbus, or something.

Confused Confused Confused

If you send it on to me, I'll owe you one, bolt. (that is not to be construed as a threat...)

No problem Bolt.....looking forward to it

Joe and Dennis, I have some private land I can hunt on, for white tails and an occassional turkey, most people here will let you hunt antelope on their property if you ask them, I have some private places for antelope but hit the public walk in areas too, not many people like to sit in a ground blind by a water hole when its 100 degrees out, but it pays off!

Anyway the hunt and herf sounds like a great idea, but it would be hard for me to get away certain times of the year and miss the work.

DBill said not to send him jerky but to send it to me!

Just got Weapons hit in the mail. And I need to point out one thing first.
Alittle constructive criticism if you will

I know, but here me out weapon

"The Jerky"

Growing up my grandpa dehydrated of lots of different meat, he also smoked as well.
So I have grown up on homemade beef jerky all of my life.
I've had thousands hundreds of thousands.

And it seems to be a running characteristic with more of your exotic wild game jerky.
Too much seasoning is used during the marinating/tenderizing/curing process.

Which completely covers the natural characteristics of the meat.... of the animal.

You sir did not. This is some of, if not the best don't jerky processed out of a gun that I've ever had.
I love the taste of wild game so this is perfect to me I don't care what anybody else says this is a blue ribbon recipe.

once everything starts settling down for me I'm gonna send you a sampler of some beef jerky. I only use the eye round. It take me awhile though.I typically make it 50 pounds at a time if not more so it's quite a process but I definitely want to get you some.

now on to the smokes!!

La Aurora maduro! I had the Corojo that I think erjaq sent to me. But my gars are so mixed up. Good smoke
Sencillo maduro rubusto!! Had my eye on this one!!
Hoya De Nicaragua Antano 1970!! Nice
Vegas 'A'? Have to look it up. New one for me.
CAO black. I'll smoke it with cedar on like a boss!
Perdomo 2 2008. I bet this is good.
Good ole Padron. I have had this one, great stick
And last but not least

The Infamous:

Weapon X Taxidermy edicion.
You have your own cigar, that's freakin awesome.
What a conversation piece.

So what you got your own Cuban stuffed away in the back spitting out cigars for ya or what?

Well done my friend.
Nice package.

These will be thoroughly enjoyed.

Thanks for the compliments!
The 5 vegas is the animal, actually one of my favorites sitting by the fire and everyone else seems to like the aroma that comes off of it
The Weapon X is rolled by Willy in Chandler AZ , good guy to deal with, rolls some good smokes, actually went to his house a year ago and he invited me in and rolled a few while I was there, now I just send him an email and he gets some out to me, and yes he does come from Cuba.

Enjoy the smokes and the jerky!

Looks like you're gonna be hungry for a little while longer. I don't get it, not even an attempt to deliver to Bolt? Sheesh (...or as the Krazy Killah Korean would say, "Aigoo"...)!

Eric, unless this somehow corrects itself wiki-wiki, you'll still get a box from me (...probably an even *BETTER* box...).

Don't send another package! It's really OK, I swear.

I did finally speak to some mouthbreather at USPS. We have a case number lol. It's CA116996508. Serious business!

I'll let you know if I hear anything from them.
