Beer

Drink up, Dan! You won't find any better barrel-aged beers, at least in my opinion.

You would love the Topper, Kyle. If only it wasn't so dang hard to find.

You would also love this Thrillseeker IPA from Beachwood Brewing that I'm drinking right now.

There have been some Nelson kegs around town lately, but no bottles that I'm aware of. Still got my eye out, though.

Save one of those Thrillseekers for if/when you're ever able to land the Nelson Eric...would love to try it.

How'd you end up sourcing the Topper in Cali? I've placed multiple ISO...on multiple forums....but to no avail.

I have a buddy in Montreal who regularly drives down to Vermont to get beer. I guess the laws in Canada are weird, not to mention the fact that what they do make is not usually hoppy enough for him (or me, or us). Anyway, he sent it to me. He also goes to Hill Farmstead when he's there, but hasn't been able to score a bottle just yet. Waiting patiently for that day...

FU Kyle! This is my house! HaHa! How you been bro? The Topper seems impossible to get here in NC too... If there is anything from NC you want just lmk.

It would be cool to try some Blind Pig or Younger too...

Cheers!

I just stumbled upon a place in my neighborhood that is currently selling this year's Parabola, last year's Parabola, Sucaba, Firestone Walker 17th Anniversary and Firestone Walker 16th Anniversary. There does not appear to be any limit on the number of bottles that can be purchased. These beers are not cheap, and they're only for those who like the darker, heavier, sweeter stuff (avert your eyes, Kyle), but if you fall into that category then you absolutely want these.

Click here if you're not sure: http://www.ratebeer.com/brewer/398/sort/2/

So, I'm offering. PM me for details if you want some.

Incredibly tempting..... I'll let the wife know and see what she says. Just dropped $120 on four limited release barrel aged vintage 2009 bottles from a local brewery, so not sure if she's gonna want to buy more just yet.

Are they over or under $20/bottle? That's about her breaking point, needs to be something she's actively seeking to go over $20 but will take someone's word for it if under $20.

Gary has Damnation ($5 / 375 ML) and Pliny ($7 / 500 ML) in stock in stock. Let me know if you want the info on how to order.

Iron fist in a velvet glove for me was a cigar that I got for Christmas of 2004 from Paul something in Ecuador. It was the best Damn cigar ever bar none!!! I lost track of Paul in 2007 when I was moving a ship from New York to Texas and got sidetracked by some a**holes in New York. Needless to say, I survived, but I lost track of a really great upcoming cigar maker.

Just thought I would toss that in in case anyone else ever had the cigar....Drool

Used to be able to get this locally. Haven't seen it in a few years.

Any CO dudes able to help out? Not sure what I can offer back.

dbill, keep those for yourself, I was just looking if anyone had it on store shelves. I used to buy 4-6 bottles for Christmas/new years and could just pick it up at the beer store. If it's gotten htf, no need, I'll find something else.

Nah. There's plenty of great beers readily available, no need to go to lengths to get this one. I'm kinda ignorant to the beer world, I brew what I like and drink that. But I had a bottle of the BCBS and it reminded me of the Mephistopheles Stout, but couldn't find it at my beer stores.
