Sounds like it might be worth picking up a box. Thanks for the info!

Definitely box worthy but be forewarned, prices have jumped quite a bit lately as the supply seems to be drying up......

Ah, life is good in the desert, no?

Been too cold here lately, but today my poirch was 50 degrees, despite the snow covered lawn.

Smoked a RASS with a White Christmas Kapiu Luwak.

How da hell you find your ball in that stuff? I pay my dues in the summer for these 70 degree days now.

Nice lineup as usual. How was the Infantes? I smoked one ROTT and enjoyed it. Buried the remainder at the bottom of a cooler......

Nice selection. I've had really good luck with the LUB and MUR codes. I love the Enfantes and finished off my first box in September. They are smoking well right now. Still have an undisturbed box in the stand-up.

I tried one ROTT also and vowed to age the rest. Even better now but I think these have a long life ahead.

Thanks Rick! Good to know. I'm in no hurry to smoke them and it sounds like they'll be worth the wait.

Some are getting pretty aged. Just quickly the oldest is 8years or so. Is it true they pretty much loose all flavor after 10years?

HdM Epicure Especial (only a few months of age on it)

Hard time getting it fired up.
Tight draw, and I mean TIGHT, with hardly any smoke until about an inch into it, then it opened up nicely and the smoke appeared.
From then on it was a very tasteful cigar.

I do not like the Punch marca... aside from the SS#1/2. The Punch Punch tastes like flowery perfume smells, to me.

Which one did you get?

I had a 56 a few months ago... 2+hours of pure smoking bliss! Hope you enjoy yours.

I believe it is the 52.

Edit: Out of curiosity, I looked up the sizes... this cigar measures exactly 5". Odd, since the 52 is supposed to be 4.68" and the 54 is 5.68 or so. This falls in between, and makes me believe it is a fake.

Band looks legit. Cigar looks and smells awesome... but I know how stringent Cuba is with their marquee line, so I am now certain it ain't genuine.

It was pedestrian. Not bad, but damn sure not a top shelf Cohiba. Fake.

Now comes the question: Are you going to let your friend know or let it slide? I would to keep him from being snookered again.

Yeah, I'll tell him. He gave me an Esplendido that was legit, but now I suspect he may have got a mix of legit/fake smokes.

Education is a good thing. I gave him a QdO corona and a Diplo #2. I think when he smokes those and they're much better than his Behikes, he may know sumpin's up.

Smoke a Montecristo Double Edmundo from '14 ROTT last night prior to the game. Don't typically smoke ROTT but it seemed ready and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Came from our friend with the yearly Christmas gift at around $150 for 15. Was happy to get the 2014 box that I requested.

So far I haven't received anything from our friend this year and I did a ton of business with him. Come to think of it, I have something from him every year for about the last 5-6 years and have not used any of them anyway.Think

It's a nice two finger case this year. Last year I got the gift twice. 2nd delivery was in late January so you might get it in the next week or so.

I met his brother in the small warehouse they had when I went to Hong Kong. From what I understand his operation got a bit larger than what it was.

Last gift I got from him was a Cohiba key chain. I haven't ordered from him in years, though. He was getting stuff pinched a lot so I switched it up. May have to revisit, if the prices are right.

Haven't lost anything from him in the 7 or so years I've been using him. I think as a whole, OFAC has eased up on seizures as I don't hear of them as much anymore. Email him over the website and ask for a list of box codes and they will happily supply you one.

as Burnem2 said, he will email box code list of current inventory. I had a shipment seized several years ago, got the Letter, got the replacement shipment right away.
