These cigars, in general, are amazing for a mild smoke. Not sure about that particular year.

Last Saturday I had a Cuaba Tradicionale and a Diplo #2 on da boat ride.

This Saturday I'll take a couple more smokes out... maybe a good'un, just in case I catch a big'un.

I'm very happy to report that '17 HUHC's are on Star Trek trajectory.

First box was decent enough. Second box was perhaps the best I've ever had. Third box was forgettable. Just cracked box no. 4 and it rivals no. 2. I think that as I contemplate my next order...I'll order one (no. 5) and just sell it so I can move right on to no. 6

I am taking a JL #1, a RA CA EL 15, and a CoRo with me.

The JL is getting torched. The RA gets torched if we do well. The Coro gets torched if I catch something big enough I need the gaff.

I actually gave them up that day. We were killing it from 10am to 2pm. Decided to head out and heard a call on the radio asking for a fish report where we were (Coronado Islands, Mexico). I told the guy and his son where we were, what we were using, and how fast to troll it.

They limited out on yellows and the bastard posted it on the fishing forum and didn't even give me credit for the assist!! I gently reminded him he was welcome...

Great cigar, but I wouldn't go so far as to say the GE LE puts the Edmundo shame. Edmundo is a very nice cigar in it's own right. The Grand Edmundo takes the flavor profile to another level.

To be fair, I've never smoked an Edmundo with 7 years rest. I haven't smoked any from this box of LE's for a few years but if memory serves correctly, they were superior when I first picked them up in 2011 or 12.

Down time has served them well.
Flavors of the LE were remarkably smooth, crisp and complex with chocolate being dominant.... milk chocolate, bakers chocolate, coco powder and my favorite from this cigar; tootsie roll chocolate which I fon't recall having been as sweet as the younger ones I've smoked. The spice has toned down quite a bit with age and didn't contribute much until the final third with a bit of black pepper, which was fairly subtle and interesting. The cigar remained in the medium range from foot to nub.

I'm not a big fan of LE's so I only picked up one box. Now I'm wishing I'd bought more......

Punch Coronation tubo.

Gifted from Elkhunter, don't know the year. Not a Punch fan, but this was good.
