PL Picador '16 - nice, but felt like it may need more downtime.
Johnny O. Butifarra '13 - Excellent as always. Only have a few more left, probably need to smoke them and order more 😁

No sir.

I still find the Alex Robusto to be right in my sweet spot. An all time fav.!
After smoking just a couple of each, I’d say it’s a toss up between the Papo and Talisman. Both are a larger format and bit stronger than Alex customs, (with the Talisman the ‘meatiest’) and less sweet, but very complex from head to foot.
Anxious to see how they smoke with a bit of downtime as they are all very fresh.

I have a bundle of Alex coming in soon. The freshies as good as '16-'17?

Indeed they are Rick! I have a difficult time avoiding them when selecting a cigar to smoke....
Decided to snag more this go-round and they will likely be traveling with yours......

So far, So good. Having never smoked a banded Talisman, I have no idea how they compare, but it’s a very flavorful and complex cigar. Burn time is 1.5-2 hours.
It they arrive like mine did, They’ll need some time to acclimate or you’ll need to dry box before smoking.
(I know you would have figured that out....)

Be curious to hear your thought after smoking one.
Enjoy!

Nice! I have some Papo medio tempos from a couple years back that are excellent

Just smoked a recent 'A' farm custom roll that was excellent, like a longer, skinnier Lusi.

No Cubans for me. I frequent Canada quite often and have tried multiple Cubans when I go. Some are great some are crap of the same cigar. Some pretty some ugly. I’m just not a fan of the consistency. I feel like we have way better cigars coming into the USA
