H. Upmann Robusto

Gifted a little over 3 years ago by a Mainland co-worker when I went up for a meeting in LA. Iirc, that was the last business trip I made with the company. Unfortunately wasn't able to hook up with Al or Shawn on that particular trip.

I’m down to six Diplomaticos from 2001. Have more, but they’re much younger.

Siglo 1 I think it was Knokmdwn or Roaster dude who sent me a sampler and they were all around 2004 -2008. This one isn't dated but it's smoking like it's got 10+ on it. Delicious!

Romeo y Julieta Wide Churchill Aprill 2011. Delicious. I'm really starting to appreciate the milder smokes. I may have to do a bit of trading to change out all the Maduro wrappers I currently have.

Machine made IIRC. Tried a box of Brevas many years ago and found them very tannic and bitter. Marketed mainly for Spain where they like this taste and strength. Maybe with some age the edge smooths but I never tried another.

Same, maybe one day I will get too. I never have traveled outside the country, and most of my friends are the same way.

Dip No.2 5/18 First from a box I bought couple months ago, better than I expected it to be
HDM petit rob No date, was sitting in my singles drawer for long time now. Very good!

Last night, had a Monte #1. These are fast becoming my favorite Monte, just much more concentrated flavor.

Followed up with a HU Connie A that was just not tasting right, ended up pitching it half way. They have been very dependable, so an annoying outlier.

a few years back I had a box of year old Dip 2's and a box of 7 year old Dip 2's (close enough on the date thing) that rfenst and I split up.
For me, the younger ones were great, the older seemed to have lost their luster.
