Had a '16 Partagas Lusitania last night, was great, though I had a few relights towards the last third. Took it out of deep storage and not enough drybox time I'm thinking.

Also had a '16 Picodores, was also excellent.

Cohiba Secretos Maduro 5 seems like fall 15 box date. That's been a night or two, I had it with a couple of ounces of a Jura Signatory vintage Scotch. 24 years old, single re-used bourbon barrel 150-170 bottles only. Heavily peated, and distilled in 1989.

hehe, wise investments from years ago.

Now I can appear to have nice stuff, BWAHAHAHAHA! The brown likker craze is getting outrageous!!! I'm in some Facebook groups and every so often, I will post something and they will have to look it up, LOL. I get them stirred up because I have a bottle of ORVW old enough to have a plastic screw top! Now, I wouldn't even attempt to find out what some of those chuckleheads with more money than sense are paying at secondary prices.

Reynaldo Robusto ‘16 custom

First one I have had in years with a construction issue. It had a plug at about 1" in. Cut about 1/2" off and the rest was excellent.

I have a bundle of those Favoritos from '14 or '15, I think, they are quite good on a clean palate and have some very interesting flavors.

Monte #2

Celebrating the end of the NFL regular season, the Packers surviving their game at Detroit and ending up as the NFC #2 seed. Hope there's further cause for lighting up a good smoke in two weeks.

Mahalos to Delta. Al sent this as part of his PIB/Wants smash down back in 2015.

Cohiba Corona Especials - these are from a 5x5 pack and they've always been a bit off, been wondering if the cardboard pack has done something too them or if they just need a lot more rest....

Monte #2 that's been sitting in my humidor for about 15 years for some reason.

Brought it back from Cannukistan years ago and just never smoked it.

I figure it is a nice way to start off 2020.

I got some from the special as well, thought they were pretty good. Not sure mine were 17s though have to look.(my post at top of page says they were 17s duh)

RASS are on now and it has been forever since I had a RASS, curious about them again and don't see them talked about on here much.

Love me some RASS but they do seem to require more time to lose astringency IMO.

I've got a cab of 50 I purchased in 2017 that I've never touched for these reasons. My first box of RASS ever were a disappointment, hardly enjoyed them, till the last quarter box. By that time they had 4 years and the really turned a corner. I recall a few people on here saying bury them for 4-5 years, so that's how I'm rolling with them from now on cause that last quarter-box was really good.

I do find it weird though that the the RA Superiores don't seem to need anywhere near the downtime to get good.

Bolivar RC MSU Nov 2018 from the split with Shaun. First 1/2 good but got harsh in the last 1/3. Still need time in the box IMO.

This gurkha warpig cuban Havana real, these flavors are undescribable. I'm getting lots nuances of plastic, soy sauce and a platinum metal like flavor.
