Montecristo Edmundo August 2019. Very good smoke... burned a bit sideways, but they were shipped a bit overhumidified and I only let them settle for a week.

Lots of nicotine, though because it gave me a little bit of a buzz and cigars never do that to me. Only one that ever did was a LFD double ligero chisel.

^^^^ Was very young tasting, might be the first time I've experienced a cigar fully in its sick time. No discernible notes outside of green tobacco throughout

Much darker wrappers on these than I have seen on other Famosos.

Aged a year lol, but boy was it better than when I had it ROTT. I still think PLPC and RASCC are better short smokes.

Halfway through the box now.
Noticing quite a bit of variation in these. Some are much better than others

Funnily enough, I had one of these last night. These seem to be coming around for.me with a good deal of rest, wondering how your example smoked.

Actually this box was DIC '17 after I checked. I agree they are getting better but this box is half gone. Think I have another unopened.

Smoked a Trinidad La Trova last night. These had been resting about a month, but, have to say, they likely need more rest. Was missing the volume of flavors I usually get out of Trinidad's, very muted. Intial verdict is to stick with the Media Luna's, we'll see if rest makes these come around.

Montecristo #5 it's okay nothing special

Got a box of Quintero Londres Extra Nov. '18 about a year ago, weren't too good. Tried them again a couple days ago and they've turned into mustache burners. Couldn't believe it, had to smoke three that afternoon just to make sure.

^yeah they're good. Seemed to be fuller bodied than I remembered before. This one's burn was a bit wonky. Had to touch it up a lot on one side. Also got a little mushy in the last 3rd but i was pretty much done by then anyway.
