Rob A has always been more expensive, but has always both curated and recommended very well for his customers. Can't imagine his prices right now, though.

Stopped using him years ago and most of the folks I know think he adds no value for jacking up the prices.

From Round 3 of Bart's CC splits back in 2014. Looking back, I sure wish I had participated in more of them.

Still waiting to smoke my first post-surgical cigar. It's time this coming week when the daughter's boyfriend and I will smoke most of the rest of my Cubans. Yee ha!!!

Another Yerandy Gomez this one a robusto. Great construction and flavor. His unique signature is each of his cigars comes encased in a piece of Cuban news print.

Quintero x two. The first of which had to have been 20 years old- leftover from a leap of faith purchase just because they were 10 years old and cheap when I bought them them for like $1/each. That one was good enough to smoke more of. The other was a short format robusto and I did not finish it. Yard gars for sure, but good ones with 10 years or more age

Daughter's boyfriend smoked an HdM short robusto and then another hdm regional release from a tube yesterday. He LOVED both.

Cohiba Robusto 10-15 years old in the jacuzzi this morning while daughter's boyfriend smoked a half-corona Trini (Reyes?) He loved his. I think the humidity from the water made mine a bit bitter.

Post-Thanksgiving Dinner cigars:

RyJ Exhibicion No. 4. Last one from a 2006 box I bought 15+ years ago. Been holding on to it as the very, very last one of a great box for like 10 years. Mild and smooth. Toasty, subtle woodsy, floral and fruit tastes. Always mildly sweetness that lasted throughout. Only lit once, razor burn. Ashed just three times. Burnt my fingers nubbing it. Herfing Herfing

(Daughter's boyfriend and my best friend, both amateurs, smoked RyJ Wide Churchills that they treated so poorly they were ruined- to them- before their first halves. They were taking big draws like every 15 seconds and were knocking off the smallest amount of ash by regularly grinding it off into the ashtray. Thankfully, they weren't from my stash!) Sick

PSD#4. Sept 18. Only one left. Don’t see me buying any more with the prices and availability of Cubans.

This box has been inconsistent. I have smoked 5 in the past week and 3 pretty good and 2 were remarkable.

I got one that is 12-15 years old. Now, it will be my next smoke based on your comments. Hope it has not mellowed too much. Herfing

RyJ Churchill Tubo 2001 (purchased 2003)

These were the benchmark for a good Cuban at the time. Rich and still full of life after 20 years. I only smoke one from this box of 24 each year.

Toasted tobacco, but not much "twang." .Meh

Punch Punch
At least 10 years or older.
Sweet the whole way through with the typical Punch profile. Real good.
