Man... tempus sure does fugit, eh?

Anyway, I brought along:

Tatuaje 7th Capa Especial
Xikar HC Corojo
La Pearla Habana Grand Pearl tubo

Probably chase 'em down with some Kona Fire Rock. Oh, but there is an event at the Vets Hall tonight. I always miss those... working my shift. Anyway, sometimes they forget to lock up the fancy beer side of the coolers. If that's the case I'll be having a Chimay Grand Reserve (blue label) or two.

(I wish. This is just a random image I found on the internets.)

3 hours to go!

So.....

I lit up the La Pearla Habana first. Right off the bat it was an easy draw and a lot of smoke, but the flavor was just nothing to talk about until the last third. It went a little wonky and I had to relight it a couple of times. But, it was pretty good over all.

Then I fired up the Xikar HC. Right away it was an easy draw and a lot of smoke and, I would say, about twice as good in the flavor department as the La Pearla. Gotta get some more of these before they are gone.

Then I lit up the Tatuaje. As expected... easy draw, lot of good smoke.. great flavor. But... in my opinion, it was no better than the Xikar HC.. it was just very good and different.

So there...

The fancy beer fridge was locked, so I had a few Kona Fire Rocks. Good stuff...
