Just curious. Do you azzhats prefer a certain type of smoke based on the weather? I have read reviews where the reviewer would make note of it, but not sure why. Thoughts on this? I've never correlated the weather with my influence of what to smoke.

NO!. I smoke inside the comfort of my home - not outside.

As hot as it was here yesterday it got though to finish a full strength cigar. I don't tend to pick a cigar based on weather unless there is rain coming but I may go for stuff not as strong when it's hot like that from now on.

I always pick my cigars based on weather.

I have to decide whether this one or that one looks better. . .

Beer

And whether I'm gonna smoke one or two, whether I'll drink port, or scotch or maybe just a beer, whether I'll be walking the dogs (corona) or enjoying the view (robusto to churchill dependin on Whether the Weather is clear or dreary)................

if I may be serious for a second...

weather may decide the size more than the strength or brand for me. Strength and brand are more of a mood thing for me, weather determines how long I am willing to deal with the elements. I live near Boston and we get four real seasons here.

My pipe tobacco choices are more seasonal than my cigar choices. Cigar choices are situational. Short time vs long time, activity while smoking, am I on call, etc… I do tend to prefer maduro wrappers in the fall for some reason.

With pipe baccy, I tend towards burley blends in the spring, VaPers in the summer, both in the fall with an occasional latakia blend (must be the smoky thing), and just about anything in the winter when I am either inside or shoveling snow outside. Snow shoveling requires either a quality aromatic or VaPer.

Well, the weather once again dictated that I don't get to have a cigar today. Maybe tomorrow.

There's nothing more ironic than a bunch of card carrying members of the CRA huddled around outside discussing their cigars rights when they can't even smoke in their own home.
