Can't believe it has been a year already since that blessed event of the birth of our first grandchild. She is happy and healthy and sweet as sugar.

I often think about how nice it was to be able to share my good fortune here, Delta (Al) ran a contest, WeaponX won as he usually does...

There have been others born since then, children and grandchildren, but not a lot of updates.

Anyone got some nice stuff to share?

Thanks.

Frank

We only have 31 days but little Lindsey has put on 2 lbs. 5 oz. and she's looking a little round in the face. We'll see them tomorrow night (...Sunday...) when they come over for dinner.

Our grandson, Troy, will be 9 months old soon. He's transformed from the crying handful he was for the first few months into a bundle of joy. Amazing to see how fast they grow, physically develop and learn. My wife babysits at my son's house three or four days a week, leaving me home alone to take care of our three cats. I see Troy about once a week or so, when my son and DIL go out on a date night, and occasionally babysit when my wife travels. I still remember how to change diapers and feed and burp a baby.

Hoping my daughter, who got married a few months ago, will have their first child within the next couple of years. Cousins that are nearly the same age seem to be closer.

Enjoy her, Frank. I have a lot of nieces and nephews, and they have been having babies... my sisters are all Grandmas.

Kids are awesome. My godson Joe has a little boy I got to meet last year when I went home. He's absolutely adorable. And funny!!

My great-granddaughter Carlee will be 9 months old next week. I got to see and hold her for the fist time over Christmas. She's in SC and we're in CA but the wife made a trip back there when she was only a couple of months old. Our plan is to relocate to SC this spring so we'll be seeing a lot more of her and of course our granddaughter and her husband. Can't wait!

BTW, 3rd great-granddaughter. The oldest just started college and her younger sister is in high school. Damn I'm feeling old.

Happy belated Birthday Ely May!!! Congrats on your bruddah!!!

time flies... and we have been fortunate to enjoy additional blessings...

since Ely May's first birthday, our oldest grandchild Troy is now 8 plus years old...and seldom cries...he's sensitive and inquisitive, a great kid

and we now have three more grandkids, all girls:

Chelsea, Troy's sister, is 5 - my son's kids...Chelsea is a strong athletic girl who played soccer this year and is a little dynamo

Amelia is 6 and her sister is almost 5 - my daughter's kids...beautiful girls who love to sing and dance

our house feels warm, loud and full when they are here...then big and empty when they depart
